This member of the Southern Oregon Society of Artists studied with his father, an artist, and recently enrolled in an adult education course in Ashland taught by Marilyn Brlggs. One of the artists planning to exhibit in the annual Green wich Village art show of the Southern Oregon Society of Artists is Mrs. Leonard Andrews, Gold Hill. Mrs. Andrews is shown here with the mural which she recently completed for West Main Church of Christ, Medford, as a background for the baptistry. It is the sixth such mural for churches of this denomination in southern Oregon and northern Cali fornia which she has painted. Mrs. Andrews executed the work in two horizontal panels at home, and then joined them after they were in place on the church wall. Two Ashland artists, Mrs. Sydney Ainsworth (at left) and Mrs. Marcella Magruder, are active in SOSA. Mrs. Ainsworth will exhibit in the coming Greenwich Village show in Medford, and Mrs. Magruder in the Lithia park show set for mid-August. LA 4 l""' ;J ' " """ .. .: - r 5; 1 J; x . She is pictured here with her daughter, Darcy, at the Public library ot Medford and Jackson County where some of her works are displayed. Mrs. Mlddleton's parents at one time owned a ceramics shop In Grants Pass, and she became acquainted with that phase of artistic endeavor. i
