Last week I got only 65 in a lest on South America and my best friend, Steve, got BO. But he cheated. He used a "gyp iheet" that was being paseed around and added to It him- e.lf. Some of the kids who fcot high marks had even writ- ten things on their hands and fingers ahead of time, things Jike the initials of capital cities. Our teacher believes in the honor system. Sh doesn't! watch . very closely. In act ahe goes in and out of the cipal. But my husband says room during a teal. I really not to. He jays Brian may be Sieve. While I reiterate to Brian that we won't worry about his marks, so long as he hones up on his notes and knows his stuff, I'm templed to gf to school and report this ex amination farce to the prin atudied last week and I'll bet I know more about South America than Steve does. But it won't show on my report card. I've told my parents that I can get 90s if I act like exaggerating and I'll only make 'unnecessary trouble. When he makes up his mind and sends the message to his brain, it must return the command to open the mouth, aim and flip out the sticky tongue. It would be ridiculous to suppose that a frog would realize that occasionally oth er things, aside from eatable bugs, might come whizzing past. He probably has, some time or other, grabbed onto something that was not in. tended to be frog-food. In his limited experiences he must have grabbed a bee or a wasp and found he had ' made a painful mistake. Willingly he wouldn't do that the sec ond time. Nature has helped him a little.
