Those who will make the trip are Miss Marsha Watson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wat- stfn, .1390 Ross lane; Miss Te resa Six, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Six, 250 Lyman avenue: Miss Charlotte Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert R. Brown, 2238 Aloha street, and Miss Bev erly Klimko, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J, Klimko, 3275 Military road. Miss Watson and Miss Six are senior students at Med- ford High school and Miss Brown is n junior student there. Miss Klimko Is a sen ior at Crater High school. The young women are making the trip through the American Heritage associa- Harriett Witt Honored Guest; Wedding Day Set Miss Harriett Wilt was guest of honor at a wedding shower at the home of Mrs. Bert Burns, 072 Ross lane, Wednesday evening. San Franciscans Set Wedding Day Ashland - Recently an nounced was the engagement and approaching marriage of Rosemary Agnes Minn to Thomas M. Click, both of San Francisco. Mr Click is the Berkeley, Calif., and former ly lived in Ashland. His fi ancee's mother it Mrs. Mary A Minn., Leonardo, N.Y. After graduating from Ash land hish school Mr. Click attended and received his bachelor's degree at Oregon Stale university. He is In sci entific researrh with the Call torna Packing corporation in San Franci.TO. The rouple plans to be mar ried June 3n. ft 1 AAV -X Tour tion, which headquarters at Lake Oswego, Ore. This is the first year that a tour to Europe has been made through the association. Pre viously tours were in this country and last year a tour of Mexico was made. The students are chosen, after making application, on their scholastic standings and recommendations of their schools. The trip is for edu cational purposes. To Take Couria The group will leave Med ford for Portland where they will receive an orientation course, and ,thcn will leave by bus across country to Washington, D.C. There they will receive further orienta tion and later leave for New York City by way of James town, Va., and Yorktown, Pa,, with other members of the tour. On July 10 they will en plane for London, England. Countries in addition to Britain which are on the tour are France, Germany, Aus tria, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland. During tiie trip the group will be broke i into smaller groups according to the inter ests of those on the tour. On August 1, Miss Brown and Miss Klimko will join those particularly interested in French and they will spend the remainder of their time, about a month, In French speaking areas. Miss Watson and Miss Six will continue with the gen eral European cultural group. There also Is a scrtlon for those who are Interested in the German speaking areas. The various sections will meet again before llieir return to the United Stains, Tliey are scheduled lo arrive in New York City about September 1. 'Hobo Party' Winner Told Mrs. Laurence Buonocore and E. P. Barnett were judged winners of a costume contest held In connection with a "Hobo Party" given M.ny M by mentors of the lUwanifiM Dames at tkc Tluus tun Dance studio. . The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel B. Harbison, 2125 Orchard Home drive, and Mr. Hammond's parent! are Mr. and Mrs. Ted Ham mond of the Beatty street address. Dr. D. Kirkland West of ficiated at the eight o'clock evening candlelight ceremony attended by 190 relatives and friends. Lavender and white gladioli decorated the church for the double-ring rites. Mrs. Dudley Peterson play ed the organ wedding music and accompanied Otis Swish er, soloist. Weara Laca The bride wore a white ballerina length gown of Chantilly lace fashioned with fitted bodice, long sleeves, and tiered skirt. Their corsages were of pink rosebuds and carnations. A reception wis held fol lowing the wedding in the fel lowship hall of the church. Cutting the cake were Mrs. Joe Router, aunt of the bride, assisted by Mrs. Lyle Ander sen, cousin; Mrs. Kenneth Juza, and Mrs. Peter Walery, both aunts, all of Salem. Miss Marlenc Froeber presided at the punch bowl' and Miss Teresa Thomas poured cof fee. Mrs. Charles Hundley was in charge of the guest book. The reception hall was decorated by Mrs. Lloyd Neil son, Mrs. Arnold Bohncrt and Mrs. Charles Cummings. Make Horn Hara The couple traveled to Reno and San Francisco on their weddlne trip, the bride wear ing a mint green suit with black patent accessories. They are making their home in Medford. The bride attended Medford High school and Southern Oregon college and is employ ed in the engineering depart ment of the City of Medford as a clerk-stcnograpner. Mr. Hammond also attended Med ford High school and South ern Oregon college and is a salesman for Singler Auto supply. Miss Alice Mathey passed the guestbook. The bride has been employ, ed as a legal secretary in Sa lem for a number of years and Is now with the Federal Aviation agency. After a honeymoon trip to Canada the couple will make their home here where Mr. Zempel is employed. New Tri Delta Group Elects Delta Delta Delia alumnae met recently for the purpose of organizing an active alum nae group in Ibis area, and at that time elected a slate of officers. Mrs. G. E. Williams was elected to be the first head of the group, while others elect ed as officers are Mrs. John Graff, vice president, and Mrs. R. L. Bosworth, secretary treasurer. Recommendation chairmen are Mrs. W. A. Graff and Mrs. R. G. Sherrill. Next meeting of the group is set for July. All interested Tri Delta alumnae are invit-ed.
