MEDFORD MAIL TRIBUNE. MEDFORD, OREGON SUNDAY. MAY 13. 1962 C 3 Church Ceremony Held Central Point-An event of May 6 was the wedding of Miss Diane Marie Griftith and Arnold Artie Wolfe. The cere mony was read at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at First Meth. odist church. The Rev. Gerald Nelson per formed the rites in the pres ence of about 200 guests. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Byron R. Griffith, 30 Crater lane, Central Point, and the bridegroom is a son of Mrs. John S. Wolfe, 322 Benson street, Medford, and the late Mr. Wolfe. Mr. Griffith gave his daugh ter in marriage. Miss Rae Burritt was maid of honor and bridesmaids were the Misses Marleen Froe ber, Janie Ward and Joan Skov, all of Medford. Cousins of the bride from Eugene, Wendy Boll and Robin Boll, were flower girls and Randy Martin of Medford carried the rings. Candle lighters were Miss Gail Eastin and Miss Cindy Pryde. Gerry Lyons served as best man, and Jerry Swartsley and Dean Welch, both of Medford, and Edward Cripe, seated the guests. The bride's gown of peau de soie was designed with a chapel train and bustle bow. The bodir-e was trimmed with lace and pearlized sequins and her illusion veil was held by miniature pearls from a lace crown. The bridal bouquet was a white orchid with white carnations. She carried an heirloom handkerchief loaned by her grandmother, Mrs. Eric Wahlstrom. Wears Satin The maid of honor wore a ballerina length gown of pea cock blue satin with bell shaped skirt. The bridesmaids wore matching gowns of leal blue and carried bouquets cen tered with teal carnations. All wore veils to match their gowns. Baskets of bridal wreath and hawthorn decorated the church and while bows mark ed the pews. Miss Diana Hunter furnish ed the wedding songs accom panied by Mrs. Leslie Board man, organist. For her daughter's wedding the bride's mother wore a pale blue sheath dress with jacket, of brocaded satin with wiiich she wore matching accesso ries. The Dridegroom's mother was dressed in a beige sheath dress with jacket, also of bro caded satin and both wore corsages of pink rosebuds. Many Guests Out-of-town guests included Vernon Griffith, a brother of the bride, who is stationed with the Navy at Bremerton, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Eric Wahlstrom, Iron Mountain, Mich., maternal grandparents of the bride; Mrs. Carl Boll, a paternal grandmother of the bride; William Boll, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Boll Jr., and family, all of Eugene; Mr. and Mrs. Hilden Pryde and fam ily, Hoquiam, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Houg and family, Aberdeen, Wash.; Donald, Wolfe, a brother of the bride groom, and Jay Mullen, both of Eugene; Mrs. Catherine Fiock and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Fiock, all of Montague, Calif.; Robert Custance, James Wick er, Douglas Williams, Mrs. John Mathes and Mrs. A. Ben jamin D. Dagwell, Portland, retired bishop of the Episco pal church. The bride is also the daughter of Louis Salade, San Francisco. For the ceremony the bride wore a dress of champagne colored silk with three-quarter length sleeves and slightly full skirt having geometric insets of chartreuse, lavender and aquamarine silk. She wore three small chartreuse colored orchids and carried a small black prayer book with a spray of lily of the valley. Mrs. Martin Luther Jr., Where You Find the Clothe You Love To Live 'In Ceremony Held In Reno Chapel Trail Millard became the bride of Keith D. Lillv in a ceremony held April 27 at Park Wed ding chapel in Reno, Nev. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Millard, Trail, Ore., and the bride groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Lilly, Pros pect, Ore. Following a trip to Wash ington the couple is living at 45 D Bush street in Central Point. The bride is a graduate of Eagle Point High school and is employed by Pacific Tele phone Northwest. The bride groom also attended Eagle Point schools and has served in the Navy. He is self em ployed. Mrs. Pryde, aunt of the bride, cut and served the wed ding cake and Miss Karen Pryde, a cousin of the bride, registered the guests. Mrs. Houg served coffee while the punch was served by Mrs. Carl Boll Jr., and Mrs. Mar tin. Mrs. James Eastin and Mrs. Charles Robinson took charge of the gifts. The couple made their wed ding trip to Mt. Lassen and Reno, Nev. For traveling the bride wore a beige suit with white accessories. They will live at 519 Mary street in Medford. The bride is employed at Mann's Department store. She attended Medford Senior high school and Shasta Junior college in Redding, Calif. The bridegroom also attend ed the same schools and Southern Oregon college. He is employed at Dumas Domes tic laundry. The bride's parents enter tained in their home at a re hearsal party for the bridal group May 4 after the wed ding rehearsal. Prior to the wedding the bride-elect was honored at three different showers. On April 21 Mrs. John Martin and Mrs. Emily Lyons were hostesses for a shower given in her honor, and others en tertaining for her were Mrs. Jim Eastin and Mrs. Al Mer cer on April 27, and Miss Ward and Miss Froeber on May 3. A pink and white striped canopy covered the musician's platform at the end of the room and ropes of pink and white set tables apart. A peppermint stick tree stood in the en-tranceway. Officer, Wife Home From Trip Ashland - Col. and Mrs. Harold R. Jordan returned the first of the week from a trip to Bartlcsville, Okla., and Winficld, Kan., where they visited relatives. En route back to Oregon they stopped in Colorado and also toured Mesa Verde National park as well as Zinn National park. Elected Miss Rebecca Elin Gates, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John MacMillan Gates, 1058 Military road, Medford, has been elected social chairman of Columbia hall, Stephens college, for the next academic year.
