Paul Kroon, Cen tral Point, and Pastor Free man Schmitt of Klamath Falls, performed the 2 o'clock afternoon ceremony, About 130 guesta attended. Don Savage, Central Point I a oroinor ni the Bride, was best man. Seating the guests were David Bollinger, Milton Freewater, Ore., and Wesley McLarley, Myrtle Creek, both roommates of the bridegroom. The bride's gown w a a of satin designed with portrait collar and cummerbund. The skirt was made with an Illu sion train and wa trimmed with flocked nylon. The bride carried a colonial bouquet of while carnations and pink rosebuds. Her attendants wore orchid colored sheath dresses with flocked nylon overskirt.i and they also carried colonial bou quets made with daffodils and heather. Baskets of forsvthia. Hf. fndils and English laurel dec orated the church. Mrs. Kroon furnished the organ music, and soloists were Miss Glenda Garoutte, accom panied by Joe Bailey and Jer ry Holdridge. The, reception held In the church rooms was given by women of the Community Bible church. The couple traveled north for their wedding trip. The bride attended Central Point schools and Crater High school and is a student at Ore. gon Technical institute. She alio is a dental assistant. The Rev, Troy Hall, minister of the Southern Baptist church, of ficiated at 7 o'clock evening rites held April 6, the birth day of the bridegroom. The bride'a parents are Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith, Ash land, and the bridegroom's mother Is Mra. Rose Denton. Mrs. Arthur Polk, aunt of the bride, played the organ wedding music for the cere mony attended by 40 relatives and friends. Baskets of pink rosea and white snapdragons decorated the Smith home for the wedding and reception which followed. The bride wore a waltz ength white silk organza frock with shoulder length white lace veil accented with seed pearls. Her flowers were white orchid and pink car nations. Pfc. Arthur Kiser, who is stationed with the Army at Ft. Ord, Calif., gave his sister In marriage. Mrs. Beverly Scott was matron of honor. She wore a pink sheath dress with pink and white carnations. Carl Henderson, Central Point, served as best man. Mrs. A. C. Henderson, sis ter of the bridegroom, cut and served the wedding cake made and decorated by Mrs. Albert Steele, Edmonds, Wash., aunt of the bride. Mrs. Dale Kiser and Mrs. Walter Rutherford, aunts of the bride, presided at the punch bowls and Mrs. Steele and Mrs. Harry Simpson, also aunts, poured coffee. The couple traveled to Cali fornia on a wedding trip, the bride wearing a lime green suit with white accessories. They are making their home at 1403 Beatty street, Med ford. The bride attended Ashland High school and is a clerk stenographer for the bureau of land management. Mr. Den- Officer Will Visit Jacksonville Mrs. Olive Martin. Eugene, district dep uty of the International Order ot Rainbow for Girls, will at tend a meeting of the Warren assembly Monday, April 18 at 7:1.1 p.m., in the Jackson ville Masonic hall. Recital Held On Monday At Church The annual spring piino recital given by pupils of Mri. D. F. Huaon wn held Mon day, April S, at the Tint Pres. byterian church.. The recital culminated a eriei of three workihopi which had been held previ ously and provided an oppor tunity for each student to pre sent the beat of hli memor ized selections which had been prepared for the atate adjudicator, Oregon Music Teachers association. The students were present ed with their award certific ate! for participation In the recent syllabus examinations of OMTA and two students, Jennifer Wilcox with 2,219 pointi, and Janii Barker with 1,871 pointi, were cited for outstanding work throughout the year. The roomi were lighted with tapers and decorated with white ipirea and pink plum blossoms. Nearly 100 parents and friends attended the event. Mri. Leo Taylor, Mri.
