This was five per cent above the $2,188 estimated for 1959 and two per cent above the national average of $2,242. Total personal income in Oregon in I960 .amounted to $4,036 million, an increase of five per cent from 1959 levels. Total personal income in the United States rose to $401.6 billion, an all-time high which is-five per cent above 1959 levels. Personal income in Wash ington rose five per cent. New highs were posted in all 50 states and the District of Co lumbia, although incomes Were affected by the down turn in economic activity later in the year. '.- ' Nine in Family Perish in Flames , North Beach Park, Md. -(UPD - A pre-dawn fire today destroyed a two-story frame home here and killed an en tire family of nine, state po lice reported. The victims Included Wil liam Bowden, his wife and their six children, and Bow den's mother. The cause of the fire was not immediately determined. State police from Annapolis theorized it might have stem med from an open fireplace. Ike Schedules News . . Conference May 7 : Washington - (OFD - Former President Dwight D.
