"This task is particularly difficult in foreign affairs," he remarked. 'We Republicans must con stantly make it completely clear that in foreign, affairs our president acts with the support of all Americans, re gardless of party," Gunnar emphasised. " "On the other hand, we have a duty to the American people to discuss openly and frankly our foreign policy in the making," Gunnar said.
