The bridegroom, a . graduate of Springfield High . school,, is employed at a Regal service station. Before the wedding, the bride was honored at three showers. Gary Weitzel Sunday, April 9, in a candlelight service at First ' Presbyterian church. The bride, an airman second class with the United States Air Force, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Bry an, 1000 Shafer Lane, and the bridegroom, also in the Air Force, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Weitzel, Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The Rev. John Reynolds of Westminster Pres b y t e r 1 a n church performed the rites at three o clock in the afternoon before about' 60 guests. Bas kets of lavender and white stock decorated the church. The bride, given in mar riage by her father, wore a full-skirted gown of white ny lon organza with appliques of flowers in Aiencon lace and satin on the bodice. Her scal loped fingertip length veil was held by a crown of sim ulated pearls and orange blos soms. She also wore a pearl necklace and earrings, gift from the bridegroom. Her bouquet was of white carna tions centered , with a white orchid. Miss Ann Baker was maid of honor. She wore a laven der dress of silk blend with a lace bodice, a deep V collar and a full length skirt. A crown of white flowers held her float veil and her bou quet was of white carnations centered with a lavender or chid., . . 'Miss Carole Weitzel, Scotts bluff, sister of the bridegroom and James Bryan, the bride's brother, lighted candles. Miss Weitzel wore a lavender party frock, with float veil held by a crown of white flowers, and a wristlet of white carnations. Capt. Merle Nelson, Hon olulu, Hawaii, was best man. Ushers ' were Robert Lyons, Eugene, and Gregory Orr, un cles of the bride. Patricia GllUtie Betrothal News Is Made Known "Ashland-Mr. and Mrs. How ard E. ' Miss Gillette was graduated from Ashland High school in 1960 and is employed by Had- ley's Apparel, Medford. Her fiance is a student at Oregon State college, Corvallis, and both young people plan to attend that school in the fall. Their wedding will take place in the summer. Walkers Return From Ensenado Gold Hill , Mr. and Mrs. A,. A. Walker returned to their home in Gold Hill re cently following a trip to Ensenado, Mexico. Both wore white carnation corsages. Guests attended a reception which followed in the Pioneer room of the Jackson hotel. Mrs. Robert Shores and Mrs. Robert Lyons, aunts of the bride, served the cake. Pour ing were Mrs. John Martin, and Mrs. Carl Hueners, aunts of the bride, and Captain Nel son. Mrs. William Gifford Jr., another aunt of he bride, passed rice to guests, and Mrs. Elmo Harris, Scottsbluff, sister of the bride, was at the guest book. The newlyweds are driving to Scottsbluff on their honey moon and will fly from there to New Jersey, where both are stationed at McGuire Air Force base. The bride was graduated from Medford Sen ior. High school in 1958 and is a flight hostess with the Military Air Transport serv ice. Lt. Weitzel is a pilot with the MATS. For traveling the bride wore a gold -. colored walking suit with fur trim and bone white accessories.
