Mrs. Nelson and Mr, Man ning will be honored at a for mal dinner March 1 to be held at 6 p.m. at North's Chuck Wagon. Two of the units will continue a study in winter flower arrangements while three will have project lessons on selecting children's cloth ing. Applegate Applegate home extension unit will meet at the home of Mrs. Ivan Hartshorn on Tues day,' February 28, at 10:30 a.m. The lesson will be winter flower arrangements and will be taught by Mrs, Marcel Le Piniec. Each woman attending is asked-to take a vase and flowers, A while elephant sale will be held after the meeting and the women are to take dona tions for the sale. All women are invited to attend the meet ing and are requested to take their own table service. Sams Valley Mrs. Dalton Straus, Duggan road, will be the , hostess at the meeting of the Sams Val ley Home Extension unit Tues day, February 28. The business meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. with lunch eon at noon. ' Yreka Church Announces Show Yreka - Plans are being made for the 1 2th annual fashion show of Yreka Meth odist church. "Fashion Fair" will be presented at 1 p.m. March 18 in Wincma hall at the fairgrounds. A luncheon will be held in connection with the show. General chairmen for the event are Mesdames Gordon Bray, Kenneth Kendall and Paul Weddle. Program Planned On 'My Church' My Church will be the theme of a meeting of the First Presbyterian Women's association at 9:30 a.m. Tues day, February 28. The group meets at the church. Mrs. Rita Miller will lead the worship service and the Rev. Robert Jacks will sing. Mr. Jacks, the Rev. Robert Olmsted, Central Point, and Dr. D. K. Mr. Hoppe is a grand trustee of Oregon. Mr. Kennedy reported on his attendance at the official visit of grand officers to the newly constituted Arago court at Coos Bay. Fred Purdin, past royal patron, reported on a visit of local members to a banquet at Yreka February 11 honoring Charles Orr on com pletion of 30 years as Masonic lodge secretary. Mr. Orr is al so past royal patron is Siski you court. Mrs. Charles Hoppe was elected delegate at large to represent Roxy Ann court at the grand court sessions which will be held at the Masonic temple. Portland, March 9-11 Local officers also will attend. Mrs. Marshall Day, past ma tron, reported that several members from Medford and Ashland visited Siskiyou court, Yreka, recently to hon or Mrs. Carl Gilbert, deputy grand royal matron of Cali fornia.
