MONDAY, ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE declaring the assessment on property benefited for the cost of constructing a Sani tary Sewer in and along Crestview Subdivision and adjoining ease ments to serve property in Crest- View suomvision ana property uu- tnront therptn not now ItJfVCd by a Sanitary Sewer in the City of .Medford. Oregon; and directing the Recorder to enter a statement thereof in the Docket of City Liens and publish a notice thereof as re am rea oy me nanui. THE CITY OF MEDFORD DOTH ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore by Ordin ance declare its intention to con struct a Sanitary Sewer in and along Crestview subdivision and adjoining easement to serve prop erty in Crestview Subdivision and property adjacent thereto not now served by a Sanitary Sewer in the City of Medford, Oregon; and to assess the cost theieor upon each lot or part thereof adjacent to and benefited by such improvement its proportionate share of the cost of snid improvement, and did fix the time and place for hearing pro tests against the construction of said improvement, and the assess ment of the cost thereof, at afore said; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted and published as re quired by the Charter of the City; WHEREAS, a meeting of the Council was hold at the time and pluce fixed in said Ordinance for The nurnose of considering any such protests, but no protests were at such time, or at any time, made to, or received by the Council to the construction of said improve ment, or the assessing of the cost thereof, as aforesnld, ana saia Council has considered the matter and deeming that snld construction of said improvement was and is of materia! benefit to said City, and .that all the property to be espoused therefor will be benefited thereby to the extent of the probable amount of the respective amcus mcnts to be levied against snid property, did order the construc tion of said improvement; and WHEREAS, the cost of said Im provement has been and hereby is determined to be the sum of $9, 426.63. NOW.
