Gerald Raymond Mclntyre (Whitland-Loclc photo) Mclntyre-Martin Rites Held in Ashland Church Ashland -Miss Ellznbelh Ann Martin, daughter ol Mr. and Mrs. Leo C. Martin, 920 Tol man road, became the bride of Gerald Raymond Mclntyrc, Princvllle, December 31 in a ceremony in Ashland First Baptist church. The bride groom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard C. Mclntyre, Princvllle. The vows were rend by the Rev. O. E. Millard of the New Ago church, Eagle Point, who had performed the wed ding ceremony for the bride's parents 22 years ago. Wedding music was provided by Mrs. Annabclle Anderson. Mr. Martin gave his daugh ter in marriage. She wore a floor-length gown of while lace over net with mother of pearl sequins. Her elbow length bridal veil fell from a coronet of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of while car nations surrounding a white orchid and topping a whilo Bible. Mrs. Norman Hooper, Med ford, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. William Campbell, sister of the bridegroom, Princvllle, and the Misses Sarn and Lc ona Martin, sisters of the bride. All four wore red vel vet sheath gowns and carried bouquets of white carnations. The bride's slslcrs also Ilghlcd tapers. Michael H. Stephens, Princ vllle, served as best man. Ush ers were Larry and Gary Stephens and William Camp bell, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, all of Princvllle. The bride's mother wore a gown of rose nylon and Chan tilly lace and the bridegroom's mother wore a cream colored brocaded taffeta gown. Their corsages were of white car nations. At the reception which fol lowed the ceremony, Mrs. Charles Kinney cut and serv ed the cake. Mrs. Michael Stephens and Mrs. Arthur E. Peters poured, assisted by Mrs. Donald Beagle, Mrs. Carl E. Kroman and Mrs. Ted Kin ney. Miss Dana Nelson had charge of the bride's book. The young couple traveled to the Oregon coast on their honeymoon, the bride wear ing a light grey suit with red accessories and an orchid cor sage. They will make their home In Princvllle, where the bridegroom is an employee of Schwab Tire center. The bride was born in Med ford and has lived most of her life in Ashland. She was grad uated from Ashland High school in 11)58 and will grad uate from Oregon Technical Institute, Klamalh Falls, this spring as a laboratory tech nician, The bridegroom was grad uated from Crook County High school in 1058 and also attended Oregon Technical In stitute. Out-of-town guests at the wedding included the bride groom's family from Princ vllle and Mr, and Mrs. Lester Olson, Bonncrs Ferry, Idaho, parents of the matron of hoitor. m PROGRESS! The Cornor Sho Store o O Frances Laneta Watson Bride Of James Daniels Central Point-The wedding of Frances Laneta Watson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, John J. Dietrich, 6369 Chapar ral street, to James Richard Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gale Perdue, 3039 Beall lane, took place on Christmas day. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Kroon of Central Point Bible church at 1:15 o'clock in the afternoon in the home of the bride's parents. A Christmas tree and holi day arrangements decorated the rooms. About 40 guests attended. The bride wore a ballerina- length gown of taffeta, cov ered with Chantilly lace. The scalloped neckline was accent ed with pearls and the full skirt was trimmed with tiers of ruffles in the back. Her elbow-length veil fell from a headpiece decorated with seed pearls. She carried a nosegay of prepared flowers, made by Ray Jennings, Medford, a friend of the bridegroom's family. Pink carnations encir cled a pink orchid in the bou quet. Rose, Amarillo, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Beerli, Medford, attended the couple. Mrs. Beerli wore a blue sheath dress of lace over taffeta, with blue accessories and a pink shoulder-length veil. Her nose pay, also prepared by Mr. Jen nings, was of pink and white carnations. Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich were hosts at a reception following the wedding. Holly and poin settia blossoms encircled the cake, which was served by Miss Betty Jones and her sis ter, Mrs. Harry Gross, cousins of the bride. Miss Mary Fran ces Daniels, sister of the bridegroom, poured. The newlyweds traveled to Crescent City, Calif., where they will make their home at 535 Second street, Apart ment 11. The bridegroom, a graduate of Crater High school, is employed by Wohl Shoe company. The bride, who was also graduated from Crater High school, was for merly employed as a secre tary by Lea Motors. Wellcr, 740 Penn avenue. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Stubblerield, 230 Van Ness avenue. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. B. J. Holland of Ashland Presbyterian church and was followed by a small reception before the couple left for their new home In Eugene. The bride wore a white brocade suit with matching velvet hat and an orchid cor sage. Her sister, Miss Gayle Wellcr. wearing a pale pink ensemble, was maid of honor, and Leroy Sluhblefield served as best man for his brother. Tile newlyweds will make (heir home in Eugene, where the bride is ati x-ray tech nician at Sacred Heart hospi tal and the bridegroom Is a senior at the University of Oregon. Both are graduates of Ashland High school. A shower honoring the bride was given December 20 by Mrs. Arch Rarksdnle, 463 Palm avenue, Ashland. V Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gene Gibson (Anderson photo) Brenda Jeanne Woods Wed To Edward Gene Gibson Ashland - In a New Year's eve ceremony at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Marcus B. Woods, 120 High street, their oldest daughter, Brenda Jeanne, became the bride of Edward Gene Gibson, son of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Gib son, 7395 Old Highway 99 South, Ashland. The double ring service was performed by the Rev. B. J. Holland of the First Presby terian church in the presence of the immediate families of the couple. Tall baskets of white chrys anthemums and stcphanotis flanked the fireplace before which the wedding vows were exchanged. White tapers light ed the greenery-banked man tle. Preceding the ceremony and during the reception that followed Miss Meredith Wil liams played piano 'selections. The bride, given in mar riage by her father, wore a pale blue brocade sheath and a liny crown of seed pearls which held a short veil. Her bridal bouquet was of pink sweetheart roses and white carnations and she carried an heirloom handkerchief that belonged to the bridegroom's mother. Miss Mary Anne Woods, maid of honor for her sister, California Pair Visitors Here; Leaving Today Mr. and Mrs. Carol R. Lat son, Sacramento, Calif., par ents of Mrs. Harry Chipman, have been holiday guests of the Chipmans, 1080 Roxy Ann place. While here the two families were dinner guests of Mr. Chipman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Chipman, Ashland, on New Year's day. Mr. Chip man's sister, Mrs. W. D. Tu tor, Dorris, Calif., and family were also present. Monday, January 2, the Chipmans and their guests were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Leon, Griffin Creek. Also entertain ing for them were Mr. and Mrs. L. E. McMurray, 440 Fairmont street. Today Mr. and Mrs. Latson ! will return to Sacramento ac companied by Mr. and Mrs. Chipman. The Chipmans will continue south to Ventura and B u e n a Park in connection with organizing new chapters of the National Chin Up club of which Mr. Chipman is pres ident. Nceces Return Gold Mill Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Necce have returned to their home on Lampman mad after spending several days with Mr Nceie's par ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Jones, ijios Bay. Christina Woods, the bride's youngest sister, wore a lace trimmed orchid frock for her candlelighter duties. The bridegroom's only at tendant was William E. Nel son, Medford, who served as best man. For the daughter's wedding Mrs. Woods chose an aqua wool sheath, while Mrs. Gib son wore an ensemble of mist green. Each wore a white car nation corsage. During the reception cake and punch were served by Mrs. Harvey Woods and Miss Mary Anne Woods after the newlyweds had cut the tradi tional first slice from the wed ding cake. The bride's traveling attire for a motor trip to the coast was a charcoal tweed suit with black and white acces sories. Mr. and Mrs. Gibson re turned to Ashland the middle of the week to resume their studies at Southern Oregon college and are making their home at 36 South Second street. The bride, who was born In Ashland, attended the local schools and was graduated from high school last June. Groups Plan Installation The Madford Board of Real tors and the Women's council will hold a joint installation of officers for the cominajyear at a meeting Tuesday, Janu ary 10, at the Dardanelles. The dinner at 7:30 p.m. will be preceded by a social hour at 6:30 o'clock. Robert Jensen, real estate commissioner for the state of Oregon, will install new offi cers for the Medford board and Mrs. Dollie Cornell, Port land, president of the Oregon Association of Real Estate Boards, will install the wom en's officers.
