Last Minute Reminders For Grocery Gift Lisle If it's turkey, goose, duck lings or a pair of roasting chickens you re having, the chances are that (hey re al ready "on order." Baked ham and pork roasts are favored by many. If you're home-making stuffings, be sure bread is at least a day old. Any of the packaged stuffings can be varied to suit your family's notions. Put in plenty of dairy prod ucts. You'll need extra butter, coffee cream, whipping cream, an assortment of cheeses, but termilk for pancakes. You'll want more dairy eggnog than you've figured on because it will come In so handy for those welcomed but unexpect ed callers throughout the days and nights. Better get milk In' half gallon containers because candies and sweetstuffs make everyone thirsty for cold, re freshing milk. Fruits for decoration, lor fruit bowls and for ingredient purposes. Fresh cranberries, winter pears, the fragrant His- ions Cornice, the Anjou, the Bosc and the Winter Nclis. A variety of crisp, juicy apples, both red and yellow; bananas, oranges, grapefruit and grapes. You'll want some Cali fornia fresh dates, raisins for oul-of-hand eating and for tossing into so many good things. You 11 be glad mat nuis come not only in the shell but shelled, packaged and canned in every way that you and the nut growers can think of , for your convenience, serving, using. Vegetable. Buys. Potatoes, both white and sweet; snowy cauliflower, onions, Bell pep pers, celery, a variety of squashes, rutabagas and a bunch of parsley. Grocery Gifts Groceries make fine gifts, cater to gourmet appetites, flatter the recipient because of your awareness of their special liking for cheese, for fine fruits, fancy fish or shell fish, smoked poultry or other food specialties. Take fruit cakes or a distinctive holiday season coffee rake to a good neighbor being sure to get some for the family. Cook Books Today's busy homemaker collects cookbooks, loves them.
