The homecoming dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Com mittee members include Mrs, Carl Pearson, Mrs. Anna Mc- Cormack, Mrs. Thomas Lynch, Mrs. David Traysher, and Mrs. Roy Anderson. Following the dinner a Cooper Home ' Products will be shown by Mrs. W. E. How ell and Jerry Howell. Doneva Koepke will play two piano selections. ' ' " The camp recently held a public card party at the Girls Community club. Thirty-two persons participated. High scores were won in pinochle by Mrs. Ora E. Mey ers, first and Mrs. Carl Lud wlg, second; for bridge, Mrs. Gladys Rammin, first and Mrs. Carrie Milnes, second; and for canasta, Miss Carolyn Endris, first and Mrs. D. W. Bowers, second. Another prize was received by Mrs. Yetta Flowers. The card committee was Mrs. Maude Lovell, Mrs. L. S. Bashaw, and Mrs. Thomas Lynch with Mrs. Irvin Patten in charge of the luncheon. The orientation will continue with a meeting at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 21, when Mrs. Justin Smith will tell the story of Red Cross. The final session is set for October 26 at 8:30 a.m., when the na tional and local structure will be explained and new vol unteers may sign for the service of their choice. Mrs. E. A. Th Strations have three pre - school children. , (Knackstedt Photo) Past Oracles , Honored At October Meet Central Point -Mrs. Hilda Hague and Mrs. Emma Col- lines, past oracles, were hon ored at a meeting of Royal Neighbors of America, Cen tral Point camp, Tuesday, Oc tober 4. Members met at the home of Mrs, Bernard Dye, with Mrs.- Francis Jennings as co-hostess. Dessert lunch eon was served. Two other past oracles, Mrs. S. Richardson and Mrs. Frank Ward, will be honored next month. Handkerchiefs with the state of Oregon painted on them are presented to the past oracles by the camp. The group sent a donation lo the RNA home in Daven port, Iowa, for the silverware fund. Members also voted to help provide a hearing aid for a hard-of-hearing resident of this area. The League has planned the speakers program as part of its voters service for this election year.
