They included Mr. and Mrs. James Frost and son, Earl, Newport Beach, Calif., arother-in-law and sister; Mr. ind Mrs. Zeneph Laurine and daughter, Zoeanne, Portland, jrother and sister-in-law, and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jeffries, nd daughter and son, Zoetta ind David. Cog gins, SPring 2-8648. jjeam 617 East Main Miss Nyback PFed To Med ford Man Klamath Falls Miss San dra Lucille Nyback, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alrick Ny back, 3614 South Sixth street, became the bride of Monte Clifford Voight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Voight, 5 Valley View drive, Medford, at a ceremony August 7 in the First Presbyterian church. Dr. D. Kirkland West, minister at the First Presbyterian church, Medford, read the rites. Woodwardia fern, candles, white gladioli and Happiness roses decorated the altar. Pew bouquets of the same roses decorated the aisles. Robert Blair, Portland, was soloist, and Miss Susan Williams was organist. Mr. Nyback escorted his daughter to the altar. She wore a Bianchi original gown of candlelight silk mist, em bossed with hand-drawn Alen con lace over-embroidered with tiny pearls, and she car ried a Bible topped with an arrangement of white Cattleya and Herringsonia orchids and white elf rosebuds. Miss Maureen Byrd, Forest Grove.a sorority sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Bar bara Reed, the bride's cousin; Miss Gail Voight, Medford, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Janie Stinson, Medford, the bridegroom's cousin, and Miss Evelyn Vaughn, Portland, another sorority sister of the bride. Miss Carol McFadyen, cousin of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. ' The attendants' gowns, of misty blue silk organza over matching blue taffeta, were princess style, with scoop necklines and shirred short sleeves. Bias bands and silk organza roses trimmed the gowns. They wore pale blue satin shoes and gloves and carried cascade bouquets of small garnet and deep red Happiness roses. Susie Soran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Soran, was flower girl. Edward Paul Tucker, Rose burg, served as best man. Ushers were Henry Wilkins, Olex, Ore.; Tom Olson and William Culp, Portland; Gary Baker, Lakeview; Gary Bene d i c t, McMinnville; Richard Seidaman, Orrin Ormsbee and John Weber. All are fraternity brothers of the bridegroom Jimmie Stinson, cousin of the bridegroom, was junior usher, and two cousins of the bride, Michael McFadyen and Rex Reed, lighted candles. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Nyback wore a mauve silk organza lace sheath dress with pink satin shoes and gloves and a velvet hat of ma genta and mauve. Her corsage was of magenta Brazzo orchids. A fountain, arranged with pink and white flowers, was placed back of the receiv ing line. Large baskets of pink and white gladioli decorated the rooms and arrangements of pink Aristocrat roses and sprays of glass wheat were on the bride's table. Roses and rubrum liles encircled the punch bowls. Miss Helen Blanas and Miss Kathleen Hepburn cut the cake. Mrs. Arthur Reed, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Harry Scribner, aunt of the bride groom, poured coffee. Mrs. Eu gene Bailie was at the gift table; Miss Yvonne Bailey at the punch table, and Miss Ann Scribner, cousin of the bride groom, at the punch bowl. Taking charge of the guest book was Miss Sharon Lantz Fraternity brothers of the bridegroom sang the Sigma Phi Epsilon Sweetheart song as they approached the newly weds in the receiving line. The young couple traveled to Banff, Alberta, Canada, on their honeymoon, the bride wearing a pink and white en semble with white accessories and a corsage of white Ca ttleya orchids. In Portland The newlyweds will make their home in Portland after September 10 and the bride groom will enter his senior year at Lewis and Clark col lege. The bride, a graduate of Klamath Union High school in 1958, attended Pacific univer sity for two years as a music major, and will transfer to Multnomah college to study business next month. She is a member of Theta Nu Alpha sorority and was a vocalist with the Pacific Uni versity Singers. The bride groom is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, Inter collegiate Knights and the Palatinian society. Coming from Medford, in addition to those in the wed ding party, were the bride groom's father and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smeltzer, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Williamson, Mrs. D. Kirkland West and son, Bruce. Also in Klamath Falls for the event were the bride groom's grandmother, Mrs Janie Voight, Nampa, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Heifer, Mendocino, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Beck, Walnut Creek, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. C. Both were graduated from Grants Pass Higli school with the class of 1959. Miss Sakrai da is employed as a dental as sistant in the office of Dr. William D. Penny, Grants Pass. Her fiance will return this fall to Southern Oregon college in Ashland, where he is a sophomore in pre dentistry. The bride is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Percy Gill Flack, Boise, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Staley, Eagle Point. The ceremony was read at 6 o'clock in the evening at St. Michael's cathedral, and the reception was held at Hillcrest Country club. About 300 guests attended. The bride's gown of antique ivory peau de soie with pearl- embroidered Alencon .lace was fashioned with scalloped neckline, three - quarter sleeves and chapel - length train. She wore her mother's full - length Brussel's lace veil and carried a bouquet of white roses and spider chrys anthemums. The maid-of-honor was Miss Jo Ginevra, New York City, a former Stanford universi ty classmate and New York roommate of the bride. She wore a frock of deep coral chiffon with matching pic ture hat and shoes. Mr. Staley and his bride were in Medford and Eagle Point briefly last week and then left for a trip up the Oregon and Washington coast to Seattle. They will have a home near the bridegroom s parents on the Rogue river. Mr. and Mrs. Staley Jr., and their children, Michael and Marc, left last week to return to the East coast. The Corner Shoe Store MAIN Ceremony Garden n Weds Pair The wedding of Mrs. Mat- tie Perkett, Phoenix, to Elmer Hopkins, Central Point, took place the evening of Au gust 11 at the Edgar Cruce home, 340 DeBarr avenue. Mrs. Cruce is a daughter of the bride. The Rev. James K. Pack of the Pentecostal Church of God, Central Point, perform ed the ceremony in the gar den. Bouquets of gladioli add ed to the outdoor setting. The bride wore a d'-ess of blue satin overlaid with blue ylon lace. It was designed with a V neckline and three- quarter length sleeves She carried a bouquet of rosebuds centered with a lavender orchid. Miss Joyce Perkett, Talent, granddaughter of the bride, was her attendant. She wore a blue nylon frock with white floral design and carried a bouquet of small roses. Debora Cruce, another granddaughter was flower girl and Daniel Stewart, Hilt, Calif., a grandson, was ring bearer. Richard Bottger, Jackson ille, a grandson of the bride groom, was best man. Elza Perkett, Talent, eldest son of of the bride, gave his mother in marriage. Miss Ladonna Cruce, the bride's granddaughter, played wedding music. The bride s daughters, Mrs. Cruce and Mrs. Henry Bott ger, gave a reception follow ing the wedding. The newlyweds are making their home at route 2, box 202. MEDFORD Family Returns From Mexico Stay Happy Camp -Mrs. Ruby grace Applegate and children have returned from a vacation trip to Mexico. They traveled by plane to Puerte Vallarta, Jalisco, where they enjoyed boating, swimming and fish ing. Mrs. Applegate is a teacher in the Happy Camp High school. Her three older chil dren, Barbara, David and Douglas will return to Berk eley, Calif., this fall to go to school.
