MAIN SP 2-5646 3 Man Arrested For Theft of Car Here Medford police arrested a 44-year-old Seattle, Was h., man Thursday night, and charged him with the theft of a car from near the Main st. bridge earlier in the night. Arrested was Leslie Paul Davis. Police said he admitted the theft. He was confined in the county jail. Davis was arrested by an officer who spotted the stolen car outside of the Salvation Army Shelter. The officer lo cated Davis inside the shelter, and arrested him. . Davis told police that the car, belonging to Jeffrey Clay Knope, 301 Lynwood dr., was parked near the Main st. bridge with the keys in it. He took it on an impulse, he said, and added that he would not have taken the car if the keys had not been in it. They always manage to get on ono anoth er's nerves and wind up cry ing. They try to involve me in their squabbles, but I don't want anything to do with it. MORAINE LOCUST The lacy green foliage of this new tree casts a filtered shade as it is rather open top and tiny leaves. It roots deep ly and is seedless, both ideal qualities for street or lawn tree, and it is thornless, is insect-proof, and like any lo cust, will grow in most any kind of soil. In form this lo cust is much like the Ameri can elm as it grows older, tall and vase-shaped. The tiny leaflets drift into the lawn between the blades of grass, so little or no lawn raking is needed. This is the tree for Ross court, 70 to 80 feet apart. The Robinia locust is an American genus. Of the scv en known species, only two In the United States reach tree size. Although' Edna believes she was very attached to her mother, her feelings were probably qullo mixed. Edna's feelings to ward hur mother might luivo contained imirh fear and hos tility and this has carried over Into her fueling about other women, It would help Edna lo try to work out a happy relation ship Willi her mothur-lu-luw.
