Mr. Woluurn's parents are Mr. und Mr. Ralph M. Wolburn, Route 1, Box 144, Talent. The Rev. Fred Supp offi ciated at tho oliiht o'clock eve ning ceremony attonded by 00 rclutlvci and friends. Del phiniums and roses decorated the church for the double rlnit wedding. Mrs. Enid Wolff, cousin of tho bride, was so loist. Mrs. Gertrude' Shlde played the organ wedding music. Given In marriage by her father, tho bride wore a white lace frock In ballerina length and carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds encircling a white orchid. Miss Earlcnc Wclburn, sis ter of tho bridegroom, attend ed tho bride. She wore a pale blue dress and carried pink rosebuds. Little Cindy Tay lor, Ashland, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl and Garl Wolff, Medford, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. Cindy also wore a blue frock. Rollund Wclburn served as best man for his brother, Seating the guests were Allen Helm, brother of the bride, and Larry Poling, Medford, nephew of the bridegroom. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the church. For traveling the bride wore a green two-piece dress with straw accessories. The bride and bridegroom attended Talent schools. Mr, Wclburn is employed by Elk Lumber company. Sewing Session Eleven members of the Col onel Sargent auxiliary met at the home of Mrs. James Van derStcen, 900 Mlra Mar ave nue, Monday, July 11, for an all day sewing session. The members took sack lunches. Mrs. VanderStcen and Mrs. Bertha Nelson served salad, hot rolls and coffee. Two af ghans were made by the members for the Veterans domiciliary, White City. Mrs. Bigalow Elected State Auxiliary Head Mrs. Earl Bigalow, long time member and officer of the Medford unit of the American Legion auxiliary, was recently Installed as presi dent of the auxiliary's depart ment of Oregon. Installation ceremonies took place at the closing of the state convention in Seaside July 8. The Medford woman be came a member of the local ... VV .? i-awia a W Mrs. Earl Bigalow auxiliary in 1040 and has held elective offices of secretary, treasurer, executive board member, vice - president and president. She also has served In all major chairmanships. Mrs. Bigalow was eligible for membership In the group through the World War II service of her husband. In addition to becoming the first president of district 13, Mrs. Bigalow has served as department chairman of Americanism and education and scholarships. She was ad vanced this year from the office of department first vice president. Other new state officers are Mrs. Richard Gearhart, Port land, vice-president; Mrs. R. Grover Francis, Portland, sec retary; Mrs. McKinley Kane, Dundee, treasurer; and Mrs. Jack George, Eugene, nation al committcewoman. They head a membership of 12,000 women in Oregon. Tuesday Picnic Rogue Valley Navy Moth ers club will hold their annual picnic Tuesday, July 19, at 12 noon in Llthla park, Ashland. Those planning to attend are to take polluck picnic items and table service. The bride's father escorted her to the altar. She wore a gown of Ivory pleated tulle. The skirt was styled with Inverted v-pancls trimmed with lace over net and taffeta. The bodice hud a portrait neckline and short sleeves. Her veil was finger tip length and she carried a unburst bouquet of stock, carnations and an orchid. The bridesmaid, Miss Edith Botschart, sister of the bride, wore a full-skirted organdy gown of Dutch blue. The sleeveless bodice was fashion ed with a scoop neckline and she curried a colonial nose gay of shuttered white car nations and pink rosebuds. The bridegroom's brother-in-law, Jny C. The young couple traveled to the Oregon Caves and the coast for their wed ding trip, the bride wearing a blue and white eyelet shenth dress for traveling. They will be at home at 118 N. E. Sumner street, Port land, until August 15. when they will move to Bakers field. The bride, a graduate of St. Mary's High school in 1958, attended Southern Ore gon college and the Univer sity of Portland, graduating from the university in 1959. She has been a teacher In Banks High school. The bridegroom Is a grad uate of Central Catholic High school, Portland, and the University of Portland.
