The personnel director wasn't impressed. "What I want to know is what outstanding things you can do during office hours," he replied. "I can assure you," she answered indig nantly, "I worked every one of those puz zles during office hours!" A youngster was zipping down a country road on his bi cycle when he passed an apple orchard. Overhanging the road were branches laden with delicious fruit. Without even slowing, the boy rose from the bicycle scat to grab an apple. The bike spun from under him, leaving the boy hanging perilously from the tree branch. At that moment, the owner of the orchard came running to the scene.
