Eric Robathan, re tired Episcopal minister, will (peak on Lenten meditations t a meeting of St. Elizabeth's guild at St. Mark's church Friday, April 8. Engaged to Wed r.nW Hill Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Nancie caroie Hopper, rfanehter of Mrs. Nina Huff man, route 1, box 179A. and Gene Hopper, Heading, Lam., to Norman G. Misek. He is the son of Mrs. George Misek, 1309 Mt. Pitt avenue, and the late Mr. Misek, Miss Hopper is a senior at Crater High school. Her fi ance was graduated from Crater High school in 1957 and Is employed by the Ore gon state highway department at Grants Pass. An early summer wedding is planned by the couple. f Women Return From California Mrs. Fred Rankin, 18 Rich mond avenue, and her house guest, Mrs. Ross Groshong, Grlswold, Iowa, returned Wednesday from Paradise, Calif., where they visited Mrs. Rankin's son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McDonald, and their three children. During the five day visit south, they attended the first communion Sunday, March 27, of Mrs. Rankin's grand daughter, Terry Lou, at St. Thomas More Catholic church. Linda Jane Hardy Club to Plan For Coin Week Plans for observing Na tional Coin week will be made at a meeting of Rogue Valley Coin club to be held Monday, April 4, at 8 p.m. at Girls Community club. The week, set for April 24' 30, will have "Why it pays to be a numismatist" as its theme. The local club plans a display. Hardy, 408 South Oregon street, Jacksonville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Jane, to Pfc. John M. Allen, son of Mrs. Walter Allen, South Stage road, and the late Mr. Allen. Miss Hardy and her fiance are both graduates of Jackson ville High school with the class of 19S8, and she is now a sophomore at Oregon State college majoring in home economics. Mr. Allen is In the electron ics and radar division of the United States Marine corps and is stationed at El Toro Marine base, Santa Ana, Calif. No date has been set for the wedding. 4 Foreign Students To Be Speakers Talent - Theresa Inglin of Switzerland and R e 1 n h a r t Kostlln of Germany, exchange students at Medford High school, will speak at a meet ing of Phoenix-Talent Parent Teacher association Thursday, April 7, at 8 p.m. at the Tal ent High school.
