Gardener Rushes Arrival of Spring Tuxedo, N.Y.-flJP&-The first robin traditionally means spring is here-and Garden Di rector Fred Johnson has de cided to speed things up. Johnson, noting that his crocuses will be ready to bloom next week in the 125 acre Sterling Forest Gardens here, decided that a few orange-breasted robins were needed to complete the pic ture. Robins generally have more sense than to fly to cold New York in February. So John son made arrangements to air lift 300 of them here in a warm plane. He says the robins-and if tradition holds, spring-will be here next week. FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH Eighth and Holly sts. u KirKiana west, pastor G.
