The Investment offering was S834, with nearly $275 being contributed .by the chil dren's divisions. A sale Nov. 7 netted $118.30. An additional source of funds was from sav ing labels. Many different methods of raising funds for this annual mission offering were used by the members. One lady, sold feed sacks she saved; another sold hand made aprons and fancy work; still another sold yogurt. A truck driver was able to turn in about $20 by giving a dime for each load of logs he haul ed. A television and radio repairman gave $1 for each tube he installed, and his wife gave 25 cents for each day she worked as a nurse. The children earned their offerings in various ways, one of the most self-sacrificing be ing that of two boys who went without their dessert in order to have their offering.
