Cub Scouts Pack 15 Twenty-fix boys were wet corned to Pack 15 through the Bobcat ceremony at the Octo ber meeting of the pack in Phoenix Presbyterian church. Cub Master Vince Claflin wel comed parents and boys. Boys welcomed in the pack were Chris Thompson, Nor man Buttram, David Mix, Bruce Lange, Jonathon Mills, Ricky Wheeler, Scott Mc Geary, David Tdmlin, Rickie Ream, Rick Foster, Larry Rose, Stevie 'Stevens, Lonnie Nickolson, Mitchell Burrell, Joseph Kanter, Lyn Thomas, Bruce Bitz, Richard Rombach, Bruce Workman, Don Taylor, Jim Fredenberg, James Walls, Steven Furry, Hugh Henrik sen, Eddie Taylor and Gene Thomas. Awards were presented to Larry Sauer, Bob Graham and Don Fredenberg, for attend ing each den and pack meet ing for one year. A thank-you pin was presented to Ed How ard for past work, as a com mittee man and Webelos lead er. He is now Scoutmaster for Troop 15. Kerry Miller and Mike Claflin were graduated from Cub Scouting and welcomed into Boy Scouts. Den mothers awarded year pins were Mrs. Virginia Graham, three-year pin; Mrs. Luetta Miller, two year; and Mrs. Mayola Wat son, one-year. Wolf badges went to Pat Graham and Archie Aldrich; bear-badges, Ted Barker and Billy Bourdon; lion badge, Bob Graham; one-year pins, Billy Bourdon, Charles Glid den, Sumner Banta, Larry Sauer, Lloyd Hood, Phillip Brown, Jim Watson, Larry Six, Alan Rombach and Garry Logan. Two-year pins were pre sented to Mike Burrell, Tim Igo, John Barklow and Ted Barker; three-year pin, Danny Zundell; wolf . arrows, Don Fredenberg, Gary Logan, Lar ry Six, Larry Thomas, Billy Bourdon, Charles Glidden, Larry Sauer, Archie Aldrich, Lloyd Hood and Sumner Banta. Mike Burrell, Alan Rom bach and Billy Bourdon also received bear arrows. The dens presented skits de picting Aesop's fables. Dough nuts and punch were served to cubs and their families. Forests in New York State have increased more than 20 per "cent in the past three decades. The state now has 14,450,000 acres, compared with 12 million acres in 1933. Wien er, regional officer-in-charge for the national labor rela tions board, has announced that his office is ready to be gin administration of the new Taft-Hartley amendments on Friday, Nov. 13, when the new amendments take effect. The amendments cover such subjects as picketing, secon dary boycotts, the right of strikers to vote in board elec tions, and hot cargo and sub contracting agreements. These amendments will be adminis tered exclusively by the board. They also provide that the states, for the first time since the enactment of the Wagner Act in 1935, may regulate labor disputes over which the NLRB declines to assert its jurisdiction. Other provi sions, which deal primarily with reporting and disclosure matters, and with the demo cratic rights of union mem bers and the fiduciary duties of union officers, will be ad ministered in the main by the U.S. department of labor. : Wiener stated, "We are ready to, and we will, admin ister the new Taft-Hartley amendments, vigorously, ex peditiously, and fairly."
