In the fish line, plentifuls include shrimp, fish sticks, and canned tuna. These are the week-end's liest values from a national standpoint. Now, here's a clos er look at plentiful foods in the West. - Arizona. California. Idaho. Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah. Washington, Wyoming: Shoppers will find lower Coriced cork, e e e s. fryer - chickens and apples in most ? markets this week. Fresh pork loins are down 2 to 3 cents a pound in most markets, and - other $ork cuts are slightly . weaker in nrice. Beef is in ample supply, and some cuts are down 2 to 3 cents a pound ! in California markets. Calf, veal and lamb are mostly un changed in price. SuDDlies of eggs, particular ly the large size, are plentiful. - Large eggs are mostly 2 to 3 cents a dozen cheaper this week, and they are down as much as 4 to 6 cents a aozen in the Los Angeles area. Ample supplies of ready-to-'cook fryer chickens are 1 to 2 - .onto n nound lower- than a wpek aeo in most markets, and ready-to-cook torn turkeys 'are priced slightly lower in California markets. Butter is in ample supply and un changed in price. Fall varieties of apples are ' in plentiful supply and lower injrice. Other fresh fruit and ' vegetable plentifuls include grapes, pears, cauliflower, ' lettuce, tomatoes, cabbage and dry yellow onions. In good supply are avocados, grape fruit, lemons, . Valencia -oranges, potatoes, squash, sninaeh and sweet potatoes. In fish, best buys include 'salmon, halibut, rockfish, flounder, and sablefish. The 80-piece orchestra is " complete and ready for the season, busily studying scores " awaiting the conductor's re turn. James Matheson, new . personnel manager, reports "all first chair players except nne have signed on for the . season, and the ranks of the orchestra show little turnover for such a large organization.
