Miss Dana Small of Frank-, lin high school, Portland, will report to secondary teachers, on the . "content of second couse," a report from the Uni versity of Illinois committee on school mathematics." - Dr. Elmo .Stevenson, SOC.o president, will welcome the teachers and Wendall Hall, North Eugene High school, president of OCTM, will open the regular meeting. The meeting is aimed at ac quainting teachers with tech niques and trends in the field of mathematics. The Kenneth Payne family was found; sleeping in and around their old automobile by two Macomb county sheriff's deputies near Detroit, Mich., last month. The Sheriff's relief fund stepped in with funds and supplied food and lodging, for several nights. Shown here in their new trailer home ; Beverly. Flames from the Gulf Oil Co. storage" area here threat ened an adjacent industrial area for more thati an hour before firemen were able to contain the blaze. The victims were identified as G. W. Mitchell, 53, office manager, and Ivan Gar rett, 38, a truck driver. Cause of the fire has not officially been .determined.
