Stadium Plans Shown To Group Preliminary sketches of the proposed multi-purpose sta dium, which it is hoped will be built at the site of the present baseball stands at the fairgrounds near the south city limits, were shown to a group known as the Stadium committee last night. The sketches call for 3,000 seats in the first construction with additional seats to be added as growth of the com munity necessitates. Dressing rooms, offices, concession stand and rest rooms would be built beneath the seats. The committee decided to seek an appointment with the Jackson county court as soon as possible to present the pro posal. Robert Haworth, city parks and recreation director, told the group of some of the pit falls experienced in county city construction of a baseball park in Spokane and offered advice on how to avoid simi lar experiences here.
