Mr, and Mrs. William H. Budd, San Marino, Calif., are the bridegroom's parents. The Rev. George R. V. Bol ster officiated at the five o'clock afternoon double ring rites attended by 100 rela tives and friends. White gladiolus and can delabra were at the altar and floor baskets of the flowers were placed near the chancel. White satin bows marked the pew ends. Mrs. Ernest Con rad played the organ music and John Drysdale was solo ist. The bride wore a white silk organza gown fashioned with Alencon lace bodice with long sleeves. The gown, styled on princess lines, had a chapel train. A lace trimmed half hat of silk organza held her waist length veil and she car ried a bouquet of stephanotis. Colonel Stafford gave his daughter in marriage. Mrs. William J. Crocker, Portland, was matron of honor for her sister. Brides maids were Miss Barbara Lay- field and Miss Carolyn Budd, sister of the bridegroom, both San Marino. They wore "sap phire blue silk organza frocks styled on princess lines with draped back panels and match ing bandeaux with short veils. Their bouquets were white carnations encircling deep blue chrysanthemums. James Budd, San Marino, served as best man for his brother Ushers were Gregory Milnes and Robert Butler. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Stafford wore a silk print frock in shades of blue and raspberry with matching hat and gardenia corsage. Mrs. Budd chose a twilight beige silk sheath dress with white accessories and green cymbidium orchid corsage. Mrs. Leigh B. Pearce, San Marino, grandmother of the bridegroom wore a rose lace sheath dress with matching accessories and ivory cym bidium orchid corsage. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the church. Miss Ann Bergstres ser, Chico, Calif., and Mrs. Picnic Planned For College Group An informal gathering and picnie has been planned for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, August 22, at the George Flanagan home on North Pacific highway, for Lewis and Clark college stu dents, prospective students, I parents and guests. swimming ana aancing are planned and a committee will be present to answer questions concerning the college. Those planning to attend who wish more information may call Mr. and Mrs. Clif ford Voight or Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Arnold, acting chair men. Each person is to take his own table service. M. G. Hoist cut and served the wedding cake. Miss Mira Frohnmayer and Miss Gail Bender presided at the punch bowls and Miss Janet Jami son passed the bridegroom's cake. Miss Ann Garner was in charge of the- guest book. White and blue flowers deco rated the room for the event. Mrs. Ward Hammond, who decorated both the church and reception room, also as sisted with the reception. The newlyweds are spend ing their honeymoon in Sun set Beach, Calif., and will make -their home after August 22 at 425 Harvard avenue, Claremont. For traveling the bride wore a brown and white checked suit with brown ac cessories and white flower corsage. The bride is a graduate of Medford High school and will be a senior at Pomona col lege this fall where she is ma joring in economics. Mr. Budd is also a senior at the college majoring in chemistry. . Following the reception here the Staffords were hosts for a dinner at the Rogue Valley Country club attended of the bridal party and out ot town guests. White carna tions, baby's breath and blue bachelor buttons decorated the tables for the event. August 22 the couple will be honored at a garden re ception at the Budd residence in San Marino given by the parents of the bridegroom, and Mr. and Mrs. Pearce, his grandparents, who were in Medford for the wedding. An event of August 9 was the wedding of Miss Suzanne Reichstein and Alan Louis Keaton at St. Mark's Episco pal church at 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon. The Rev. George R. V. Bolster offici ated at the double ring rites. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Reichstein, 7 Glen Oak court. Mr. Keaton's parents are Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Keaton, Junc tion City, Ore. More than 300 relatives and friends attended the ceremony. . The couple were married in the church where the bride's parents were married and where the bride was con firmed. Baskets of pink roses and pale pink, white and purple stock with masses of ivy dec orated the , church. White satin bows and similar flow ers marked the pew ends. The bride wore a floor length white gossamer silk organza gown with Chantilly lace applique yoke and cap sleeves. The lace also out lined a front flounce on the bouffant skirt. Her imported fingertip length illusion veil was held by a crown of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of white roses and ivy. Mr. Reichstein gave his daughter in marriage. Sorority Sisters Miss Dorothy Rhymes, Al pha Phi sorority sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Sue Taylor, Eugene; Miss Diane Phillips, Portland, another sorority sister of the bride, and Miss Judy Finegan. " . They wore frocks of white organza ove -pale pink chromespun fashioned with scooped necklines outlined with embroidered flowers and wide sashes of pink chrome spun. Their headdresses were pale pink velvet circlets which held pink tulle veils. Miss Rhymes carried pink and white rases with ivy and the bridesmaids had bouquets of pink roses and ivy. . Bruce Johnstone, Portland, served as best man. Seating the guests were Gordon Sum mers, Portland; Marion Grib skov, Junction City, and Cur tis Holzgang, Portland, form erly of Medford. Acolytes were Robert Walk er and John Yoakley. Mrs. Ernest Conrad played the organ wedding music and John Drysdale was soloist. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Rogue Valley , Country club. The tables were decorated with grape leaves, large clust ers of purple grapes and pink, white and purple stock. The newlyweds cut the wedding cake with an heirloom wed ding knife loaned by W. J. Warner. Miss Janet Newman, Grants Pass, cousin of the bride, served the bridegroom's cake baked by Mrs. Hemingway. The wedding cake was baked by Mrs. Ronald Rice. The Misses Terri and Lynn Hemingway, Portland, passed baskets of rice. Mrs. Guy Phetteplace was in charge of the decorations at both the church and coun try club. The newlywed couple trav eled to Carmel and San Fran cisco for -their wedding trip. For her traveling attire the bride chose a sandbiege silk shantung sheath dress with matching jacket and biege and green accessories. Her corsage was a green cymbi dium orchid. Home in Portland The couple are making their home in Portland at 3507 SW Eleventh st. The bride is a graduate of Medford High school, the Uni versity of Oregon, where she was affiliated with Alpha Phi social sorority, and the Uni versity of Oregon School of Nursing, Portland. Mr. Kea ton attended the University of Oregon where he was af filiated with Theta Chi so cial fraternity, and is a stu dent at the University of Ore gon Medical school, Portland, where he is a member of Phi Beta Pi, medical fraternity. A rehearsal party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Reter with Mr. and Mrs. Guy Phetteplace as co hosts the evening pripr to the wedding.
