Miss Jucli Taylor Crowned Queen of Shady Cove Bethel I J SjJ 'Iff Miss Judi Taylor (Brainerd photo) Shady Cove-Miss Judi Tay lor was crowned honored queen of Bethel 56, Interna tional Order of Job's Daugh ters, at a ceremony Saturday, June 27th, at the VFW Hall, Shady Cove. Miss Taylor is " the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John N. Taylor who have je cenily moved to 2252 Table Rock road, Medford. Other officers installed were the Misses Suzanne Rog ers,' senior princess; Jackie Hume, junior princess; Joey Hume, guide; Eda Larson, marshal; Susan Eastin, record er; Nancy Blackman, chap lain; Dianne Stell, librarian; Mary Weisbrod, Lola Acker- . man, Linda Weitman, Rita Spain and Suzanne Schauble, messengers; Marcia Acker : man, senior . custodian; and - Sandy.- Hawks, junior custod ian. ' Installing officers were queen Linda Eccleston; guide, Deborah Dunlap; marshal, Phyllis Briggs; chaplain, Bar- bara Gordon; Medford senior custodian, Sandy Sawyers; Junior custodian, Micke No ble; recorder, Suzanne Hood; musician, Janet Kilbourn. - Queen Linda was assisted in the crowning ceremonies by Leslie Goff, master councilor, Crater chapter, Order of De Molay and his corps of offi ' cers. Mrs. Keith Krambeal r sang, accompanied by Miss Janet Kilbourn. Quen Judi was presented a gavel by her father. She also received her queen's pin from Miss Eccleston and in turn presented Miss Eccleston with her past honored queen's jew el. Mrs. Dale Ackerman pre sented the queen with the tra ditional bethel gift of the queen's tiara. A presentation was made to Mrs. Carl Elhart, guardian of Bethel 14 and past guardian, making her a member of honor in Bethel 56. Honored Queen Judi intro duced her parents, her sister Beverly and other relatives. Escorted and introduced were honored queens of the valley, the Misses Deanna Miller, Linda Prather, Bar bara Gordon, Micke Noble and Suzanne - Hood. Grand Bethel representatives includ ed Miss Sandra Sanner, page and Miss Suzzane Rogers, jun ior princess. Adults introduced included Mrs. W. K. Suit, Medford, grand guide; L. R. The' queen's theme, "The Magic of Believing," and her colors of pink and purple were used in decorating, in cluding the cake decorated by Mrs. Earl Sheppard of Shady Cove.' Refreshments were served by the guardian coun cil during the reception and dance that followed. Garment Center By GAY PAULEY UPI Women's Editor New York - (UPD - Around Manhattan: The newest haunt for models working in the nation's bustl i n g garment center is an eatery run by one of their own kind. Fay Glad stone, a 26-year-old man nequin, has Guy Pauley traded the run way for the restaurant, to be come partner with Alle Fein- berg in a cafe called "The Heroine." "About the only think I miss about modeling is buying my clothes wholesale," said the blue-eyed Mrs. Gladstone. "Most models go into other careers eventually design ing, running modeling agen cies, or fashion coordination. But all the time I was working the showrooms, I kept think ing this area certainly -could use a good eating place. We have a southern atmosphere here, but call it a sidewalk cafe. There is one table out front," she said. "You should see the concen tration of glamour around this place at lunch time." Model Since Age 14 Mrs. Gladstone, a native New Yorker, began as a junior clothes model with the Harry Conover agency when she was 14.
