CHARLES KLINGLE Funeral services for Charles Emmett Klingle, 57, will be held at Perl Funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday. Dr. George S. Roseberry- of the First Methodist church will offi ciate. Mr. Klingle died June 19 in Spokane, Wash., where he had lived for the last six years. He was born in Lake Creek, Aug. 29, 1901. He was em ployed by the city of Medford for a number of years and he operated the Ringwood or chard on the Rogue river for five years. He had been in the plumbing business in Waslv ington since leaving Medford. He was a member of the Plumbers Local 44 in Spo kane and of the Eagles lodge in Bremerton,. Wash.. , He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth "Klingle his moth er, Mrs. Elsie Klingle of Med ford; a sister, Mrs. Norma Sherid of Medford; two broth ers, Frank Klingle -of Lake Creek, and George Klingle of Grants Pass, and two neph ews, Jack Klingle of Pleasan ton, Calif., and Don Klingle of, Eagle Point. , interment will be in the Siskiyou Memorial park. Vehicle Safety ; Hearings Slated Salem-(DPD-A series of nine public hearings throughout Oregon 'will be held during July to establish a safety code for vehicles used to transport people to and from work. The State Motor Vehicle Department said it has ar ranged to give interested indi viduals and groups an oppor tunity to express their views on a tentative draft of the proposed code. . They will be held in: Redmond, July 7; Hood Riv er, July 8; Pendleton, July 9; Ontario, July 10; Medford, July 14; Klamath Falls, July 15, and Eugene, July 16. Mr. McCullough married Mildred VanHorne In Joplin, Mo., June 23, 1932, and moved to California in 1942. They ar rived in Ashland in Novem ber, 1953, where he was em ployed as a chef at the Plaza cafe. . Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his mother, Mrs. Josephia McCullough, Garden City, Kan.; two daugh ters, Mrs. Evelyn Cummins and Mrs. Theda Johnson, both of Joplin, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Opal Smith, Garden City, and three grandchildren.
