(Landis photo) Murphy-Conroy Ceremony Held at Catholic Church Miss Nancy Lou Conroy be came the bride of Neil John Murphy in a ceremony held Saturday, June 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic church with the Very Rev.. Carl Mai of ficiating at the noon mass. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Irene Kirkebon McKin ley, 1102 West Ninth street, and Lt. Col. Leslie J. Conroy, El Paso, Texas. Mr. Murphy is a son of Mrs. Con Murphy, 735 West 14th street, and the late Mr. Murphy. Roses, peonies and gladi olus decorated the church for the wedding. Miss Lee Ann Butts and Miss Helen Bolton, Marylhurst college friends of the bride, sang. The bride wore a white floor length embroidered ny lon organdy gown which end ed in a train, and a fingertip length veil. She carried a bou quet of white roses with ivy. Chester McKinley, Whittier, Calif., escorted the bride to the altar. Miss Kay Post and Miss Jerode Dean, both Portland, presided at the punch bowls and Kerry Ann O'Hara was in charge of the guest book. Miss Loretta Zeleznik was at the gift table. The newlywed couple trav eled to San Francisco on their wedding trip, the bride wear ing a teal blue suit with pink accessories. They returned to Medford Thursday and are making their home at 924 Kenyon avenue. The bride is a graduate of St. Mary's High school and Marylhurst college and is em ployed by Dr. Lawrence Ellis. Mr. Murphy is a graduate of St. Mary's High school and Southern Oregon college and is a teacher on the staff of St. Mary's High school here. Among the out-of-town guests were Miss Marne Chris- tensen, Max Heiken, both Cor- vallis; Mr. and Mrs. Ambie Ernstrom, Portland; Mrs Arnnie Humble, Brooklyn, N.Y., aunt of the bride; Mrs. Con J. Supreme Temple Reports Planned Reports on the supreme temple will be given at a meet ing of Zuleima temple, Daugh ters of the Nile, Saturday, June 20, at 1 o'clock in the Medford Masonic temple. The supreme session was held this month in Los Angeles. A tea given by the Wood land Nile club will follow the meeting. Mrs. Murray Gardin er and Mrs. John Smith will assist with the teal Mr. Pelham Miss Susie Drake became the bride of Donald LeRoy Pelham, 2130 College Way, in a ceremony held at Four square Gospel church with the Rev. R. H. Mathewson officiating. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don ald E. Drake, 1101 Loal street. Mr. Pelhamis a son of Mr. and Mrs. T. I. Pelham, Duarte, Calif. Mrs. Mathewson played the wedding music for the eight o clock evening ceremony held May 8 and attended by 50 relatives and friends. Bas kets of iris decorated the church for the single ring rites. Given 'in marriage by her lather, the bride wore a white gown fashioned with silk bodice and net over taffe ta skirt. Her veil was finger tip length and. she carried a bouquet of white carnations. Miss Janie Sides attended the bride. She wore a sky blue frock and her flowers were white carnations. John Jakoski served as best man and LeRoy Jarvis, Trail, brother-in-law of .the bride groom, seated the guests. Following the ceremony a reception was . held at the Drake home. Mrs. Drake cut and served the wedding cake and Mrs. John Madisen pour ed the punch. Mrs. Jarvis was in charge of the guest book and was at the gift table. The couple are making their home at 508 Stewart avenue. The bride is a graduate of Medford High school. Mr. Pel ham attended California schools and is employed as a grader at Oregon Veneer company. Leib brand, former Medford resi dents now living in Denver, Colo., to Paul Lee Gfeller, San Francisco. Miss Leibbrand is a grad uate of Medford High school and -attended the University of Oregon. She is a senior stu dent at F r e n o h Hospital School of Nursing in San Francisco. Mr. Gfeller, who is associ ated with the Charles Brun ning company of San Fran cisco, served four years in the armed forces and studied at the University of Ohio. Dr. George G. Roseberry offi ciated at the two o'clock after noon rites attended by 60 relatives and friends. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Mitchell, route 1, box 160. The bride groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Blocker, Jo- liet, Mont. Baskets of white chrysan themums and stock decorated the church for the ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white lace over satin gown and her shoulder length veil was held by a lace and satin cap trim med with iridescent pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink rosebuds, white carna tions and ivy. Miss Linda Nease was maid of honor and Miss Mary El len Mitchell, Phoenix, 'was bridesmaid. They wore frocks of flock dotted blue and pink nylon organdy with matching halo hats and carried cascade bouquets of white carnations. Don Mitchell, Phoenix, cousin of the bride, served as best man for his brother-in-law. John Jackson, Frank R. Schooler, Indianapolis, Ind., and D a y m o n L. Milligan, Gainesville, Texas, seated the guests. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the church parlors. White daisies and rosebuds decorated the table that held the tiered wed ding cake.
