Sexton, Secretary-Manager Criminal Bureau Bill Passes Senate Salem --ITD- The Senate has passed and sent to the House a bill establishing a Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification in the state po lice. A similar bill passed by the Legislature in 1957 was ve toed by ex-Gov. Robert D. Holmes. The bill provides that the state police department must maintain a file of all appre hended criminals including fingerprints, photographs, per sonal history and descriptions and make available these ma- terials to all government agencies requesting it. STRUCK BY PROPELLER Memphis, Tenn. -(UPD- Ross Barnett, 61, a leading candi date for governor of Missis sippi, was reported in "seri ous but not critical" condition today from injuries received when he walked into a spin ning airplane propeller. He was slashed on the left side of his chest Wednesday night after he stepped off a plane in Coldwater, Miss., where he was to meet with a group of his backers.
