Miss Wade is the bride-elect of Dennis Perkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Perkins, Huntington, West Virginia. The wedding is scheduled this afternoon at three o'clock in the St. Mark's Episcopal church. A reception in the parish house will follow the ceremony. Miss Wade was honored January 6 at a miscellaneous shower by Mrs. Gary Saffley at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Van Sickle, 53 Myers court. Last month she was honored at a kitchen shower given by Miss Susan Camp bell at the home of her par ents. Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell, 14 West Eleventh street. Mrs. John C. Wade, grand mother of Miss Wade, arrived last week from Des Moines, Iowa, for the wedding. Card Party Getogether club will hold a card party Friday, January 16, at the Girls Community club at 1 p.m. A dessert-luncheon will be served. Episcopal Rites Held For Couple Trail-Among holiday wed dings was that of Miss Sheila Dee Dolenshek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dolen shek, Trail, to David Richard Bliss, son of Mr.' and Mrs. Voyed Bliss, Prospect. The ceremony took place Decem ber 24 at 7:30 o'clock in the evening at St. Mark's Episco pal church, Medford. The Rev. George R. V. Bolster of ficiated. The bride wore a gown of white brocaded satin fashion ed princess style with scal loped neckline, long sleeves and full skirt with slight train. Her finger-tip length veil was held by a half-hat of material matching her gown and trimmed in sequins. She carried shattered white carnations with red rosebuds knotted in the streamers, and a white prayer book. Miss Linda Hertager, Eagle Point, attended the bride. Her gown was of green lace and tulle over taffeta and she car ried a colonial bouquet of yellow rosebuds. Mr. Dolenshek wore a sheath frock of dusty rose taf fet and white gardenia cor sage. The bridegroom's moth er wore a pink suit with white gardenia corsage. Miss Diana Getchell played the organ. For the small re ception which followed in the Parish house, Mrs. Ray Briggs, Shady Cove, poured, and Miss Phyllis Briggs, Shady Cove, took charge of the guest book. Decorations were in the Christmas theme. The bride is remaining in Trail for the present and the bridegroom has returned to duty with an armored divi sion of the United States Army at Ft. Hood, Tex. Married Couple Now Living in LosAngeles ' Mr. and Mrs. Francis Bur ton Adams are making their home in Los Angeles follow ing ther weddng December 26 at the First Baptist church here. The Rev. James Neely officiated at the double ring ceremony held at eight o'clock in the evening and attended by 150 relatives and friends. Mrs. Adams is the former Terry Ann Hughes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hughes, 56 North Peach street. Mr. Adams is a son of Mrs. Ada Adams, 239 Gibbon road, Central Point, and has been living in Los Angeles. Chrysanthemums, poinset tias, and red and white carna tions decorated the church and reception room for the wedding. Kenneth Raymond played the traditional wed ding music and Mrs. John Sellars was soloist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white Chantilly lace and net gown over satin. The train was car ried by Miss Beverly Good. The bride's net fingertip veil was held by a cap of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of anthurium and stephano tis. For something borrowed the bride had a copper penny in her shoe loaned by Mrs. S. L. Jones which she had worn in her shoe 28 years ago and has loaned to several brides since that time. Miss Ruth Hunter was maid of - honor and bridesmaids were Miss Betty Arnold and Miss Bobbie Jean Hales. They wore red satin frocks with Couple Married In Recent Rites At Chapel Here Miss Joanne Dickenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ol iver O. Dickenson, 325 South Riverside avenue, became the bride of John Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Simmons, Malaga, Wash., in a ceremony held January 3 at First Methodist church, Meeker Memorial chapel. White chrysanthemums and white stock decorated the church for the eight o'clock evening ceremony attended by 40 relatives and friends. Dr. George G. Roseberry of ficiated at the double ring service. The bride wore a white lace dress and carried a white Bible with white roses. Mr. Dickenson gave his daughter in marriage. Miss Sandra Farlow at tended the bride. She wore a red taffeta frock and carried a bouquet of white carnations. Miss Susan Chubb, Shady Cove, was candlelighter. Ronald Simmons, Malaga, Wash., served as best man for his brother, and William Price, Malaga, seated the guests. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The couple are making their home in Wenatchee, Wash., where Mr. Simmons is a logger. The bride attended Eagle Point High school. They wore green satin dress es with white velvet head dresses. Douglas Harsh served as best man while Wayne Zim- mers, and Michael Fluer seat ed the guests. Kenneth Hugh es Jr., brother of the bride was ring bearer. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Hughes wore a blue lace and nylon jersey dress. Her flowers were Dink carnations. Mrs. Adams chose a brown suit with blue accessories and her corsage was of blue car nations.1 Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Fel lowship hall of the church. Assisting with the serving were Mrs. Gladys Koepke, Miss Sharon Larimer, Miss Helen DeCarlo, Miss Joyce Roelfs and Miss Mary dePlace. Mrs. Fred Landers was in charge of the bride's book while Mrs. Ralph Wilson, Miss Carlene Schuppenies, and Mrs. H. W. Schwietert were at the gift tables. The couple traveled down the California coast on their wedding trips. The . bride wearing for traveling an aqua marine suit with white blouse and black accessories. Her corsage was from her bridal bouquet. The bride is a graduate of Medford High school. Mr. Adams is employed by Gen eral Motors in Los Angeles. Albright-Doug Held in St- Ma Miss Patricia Anne Dough-1 erty became the bride pf Ed ward Mac Albright in a double ring ceremony held December 28 at St. Mark's Episcopal church. The Rev. George R. V. .Bolster officiated at the 3:30 o'clock afternoon rites, attended by 40 relatives and friends. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Martha Black, 38 North Oakdale avenue. Mr. Albright is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight J. Albright, 1678 Or chard Home drive. The bride wore a grey suit with white accessories and a white orchid corsage. She was given in marriage by Caplin L. Perkins Jr., Toledo, Ore., her brother-in-law. Miss Peggy Fisch attended the bride. She wore a black and white wool sheath dress with white accessories and white carnation corsage. Michael Travis served as Miss Wooton Is Bride of Charles Case Miss Sharon L. Wooton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wooton, 532 Plum street, became the bride of Charles P. Case, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Case, Grants Pass, in a ceremony held De cember 23 at the First Chris tian church. The Rev. William C. Piper officiated at the double ring ceremony held at eight o'clock in the evening, Chrysanthemums and poin- settias decorated the church for the event attended by 80 relatives and friends. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a cream colored satin dress in baller ina length fashioned with full skirt. She carried a bouquet of red rosebuds encircling a white orchid. . Miss Vicki Robertson at tended the bride. She wore a red frock and carried white chrysanthemums. Candlelight- ers were Linda and Tom Wooton, sister and brother of the bride. Linda wore a white dress with red cummerbund, Flower girls, Deralyn and Dana Wooton, nieces of the bride, wore red dresses. Richard Graves, Grants Pass, served as best man while James Wehren and Roger Jones seated the guests. Ring bearers weer Danny and Ran dy Wooton. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride s parents. Red and white colors were used in the decorations. The newlyweds traveled along the Oregon coast on their wedding trip. The bride wore for traveling a brown suit. The bride attended Medford High school and is a student at Southern Oregon college. Mr. Case attended Grants Pass High school and South ern Oregon college and is stationed with the United States Army at Fort Riley, Kans. . Kerty Rites 1 rk's Church best man and Larry Albright, brother of the bridegroom, and Robert Bright, seated the guests. Red poinsettias and green ery decorated the church. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Al bright home. Mrs. Caplin Per kins cut the wedding cake and Miss Sandra Kline was in charge of the guest book. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Black wore a grey suit with red accessories. Mrs. Al bright chose a brown suit with white accessories. Their cor sages were of white carna tions. The bride is a student at Medford High school. Mr. Al bright is a graduate of Med ford High school and is a sophomore in secondary edu cation at Southern Oregon college. He is employed by the Safeway Stores Inc. The couple are making their home at 375 South Central avenue, apartment 2. Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Finch, aunt and un cle of the bride,- Butte Falls. Newlyweds Make Home in Medford Gold Hill -Mr. and Mrs Victor Hadley are residing in Medford following their mar riage on Saturday, December 27 at Myrtle Creek. Mr. Had ley, a former resident of Pais ley, s a student at Southern Oregon college, at Ashland His bride is the former Miss Marjorie Lester of Myrtle Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lance, Medford, attended the wed ding. Mr. Lance; a classmate at college of the bridegroom, served as best man. Sister Here Mrs. E. M. Arends has ar rived from San Francisco to be a guest of her sister, Mrs. Hugo Guenther, 123 South Keeneway drive. Mrs. Arends plans to spend several days here.
