Other officers elected were Hamilton Family Arrives in Valley Mr. and Mrs. Harper K Hamilton Jr. and their three children, Kenneth, Judy, and Elizabeth, are houseguests at the. H. S. Deuel home on South Oakdale avenue. Mrs. Hamilton, the former Janet Day, is Mrs. Deuel's daugh ter. ; .The Hamiltons make their home in Anchorage, Alaska, where Mr. Hamilton js presi dent of the First Federal Sav ings, and Loan association. , Mr. Hamilton is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Harper K. Ham ilton, 114 Highland drive. The family will remain in the valley until later this month' and plan to attend many holiday activities. They will also be honored at sev eral parties. They plan to visit Mother relatives in the state prior to returning to Alaska. Mrs. Dora Krouse, vice-presi dent, and Mrs. Eddie Meeker, secretary - treasurer. Retiring officers, Mrs. John Bohnert and Mrs. Richard Hein, will serve on the executive com mittee. A progress report was giv en on the beef cooking school to be held in January. The school will be open to every one and will feature economy cuts of beef. Prizes will be given. The new Father of the Year applications were discussed and found to be much more satisfactory than in previous years. They will be passed out to youth groups in the county sometime after Christ mas. After the meeting and din ner, the Cow Belles attended the Stockmens meeting wher Mrs. Nichols reported the year's activities for beef promotion. ... - Christmas Program Members of Wednesday Study cluh. will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, in Girls Community club for dessert luncheon. A Christ mas program and gift ex change are planned. Miss Marcia Sue Isaacs be came the bride of Donald Jo seph Gray in a double ring ceremony, held Wednesday, November 26 in the First Methodist Church, M e d f o rd Dr. George Roseberry officiated. Mrs. Gray is the daughter of Mrs. Edward L. Isaacs, 552 Haven street and the late Mr. Isaacs. Mr. Gray is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gray, 614 Plum street, Medford. For her wedding the bride chose a waltz length gown of white chantilly lace with a white satin cummerbund. She wore an elbow length veil and carried a cascade of baby pink rosebuds centered with a white orchid. Mrs. Harry Hopkins, Yre- ka, Calif., was matron of honor. She wore an ice blue brocade dress and carried a cascade of pink carnations. Kenneth Greiss was best man. Miss Shirley Isaacs, sister of the bride and Jerry Bev- ms, cousin of the bridegroom, were candlelighters. Everette Hagebusch, For- tuna, Calif., gave his niece in marriage. Ushers were Harry Hopkins of Yreka, Calif., Larry Ander son and Gary Picard, Med ford. Mrs. Gregory Mac Dougall was soloist and Mrs. Leslie Boardman played the organ. A reception was held in the church following the cere mony, with Miss Ann Isaacs, sister of the bride, in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Jack Dennis, Medford, and Miss Karen Eberius, Seattle, Wash., poured punch. Mrs. Everette Hagebusch, Fortuna, and Mrs. Eugene Eberius, Seattle, cut and served the wedding cake. The Misses Judy Benge and Sharon Wymore took care of the gifts. About 200 guests attended. The couple made a short wedding trip to Eugene, and will be home at 211 Vancou ver avenue. Both 'Mr. and Mrs. Gray at tended Medford schools, and Mr. Gray is now a student at Southern Oregon college, Ashland. Mrs. Gray is a dance instructor in Yreka, Ft. Jones and Etna, Calif. Hostess Gives Tea Saturday; Couple to Leave Mrs. E. A. Littrell was host ess for a holiday tea yester day afternoon at the Littrell home on Greenway circle. The event honored women employees of Mr. Littrell's firm, and the wives of men employees. Guests were from Medford, Grants Pass and Brokings, Ore., and numbered about 35. Assisting Mrs. Litrell were Mrs. Wesley Coleman, Mrs. Floyd Lewis, Mrs. Edmund Simmons, Mrs. William Lit trell, Mrs. Harold Littrell and Mr. Littrell's granddaughter, Kathy Stacy. ' The decorations included a Christmas tree trimmed en tirely with pink ornaments, and the tea table was decora ed with pink angels. Thursday night the Lit trells will be hosts for an an nual family dinner and Christmas party at home. Sat urday they will leave for Petaluma, Calif., to 'spend Christmas with Mrs. Littrel's son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. David Brainered and two daughters, Jan and Lyn. Later the couple will travel in Arizona, California and Mex ico for several weeks. During the Littrell's ab sence, Mrs. L. L. Sanders will occupy their home. Medford Couple Married in Reno Mrs. Gwendolyn Peterson and John T. Mardon, both Medford, were married No vember 30 in Park chapel, Reno, Nev. The Rev. Ray mond Walters officiated. The couple is living at 310 West Jackson boulevard, the bride's home. She has been a resident of Medford for the past 18 years. Mr. Mardon has made his home at 713 Narre gan street. Holiday Dinners Given by Couples Holiday time is a favorite season for parties, and a num ber are on the calendar in Medford. Last evening Mr. and Mrs. E. P, Vilas and Mr, and Mrs. Gain Robinsons were hosts for a dinner. The event was at. the Vilas home on Vilas road. " - - Last Saturday, evening Mr. and Mrs. Marrs Gibbons in vited a small group of guests to their home on Old Military road for a dinner. Medford Woman Honored At Parties; Leaves Friday Shower Honors Miss Edna Gray; Wedding Friday Eagle Point-A shower given December 5 honored Miss Edna Gray, whose marriage to Neil Dusenberry, Trail, is planned at Eagle Point Com munity Bible church Friday, December 19- The shower was held at the home of Mrs. Larry Wilson. Mrs. Steve O. Wilson was cohostess. Attending the shower were Miss Gray, Mrs. Edward Gray, Mrs. Carl Christian, Mrs. Laura Baker, Mrs. Dean Wil son, Mrs. Harry Tonn, Mrs. Ernest Leavitt, Mrs. Richard Dunn, Mrs. Howard Gault, Miss Janice Gault, Mrs. Rob ert Dunn, Mrs. R. J. Nealon, Mrs. John Dodge, Mrs. Stan ley Delgado, Mrs. Robert Sage, Miss Penny Sage, Mrs. Nellie Costarillo, Mrs. John Nealon, Mrs. Buelah Dusen berry, and Mrs. O. T. Wilson. A tea was. given for Miss Gray in late November by Mrs. Lewis Dusenberry, Trail, in order that she might meet family members. Also attend ing the tea was Miss Gray's mother, Mrs. Edward Gray and sister Mrs. Carl Christian from Eagle Point. . f Lady Elks Plan Luncheon, Cards Lady Elks will meet Tues day, November 16, at 1 p.m. at the Elks Temple party lounge for a dessert lunch eon and afternoon of cards. Mrs. G. N. Gitzen, Mrs. Frank Little and Mrs. Alva Perkins will be ' hostesses. Members are to take their do nations for the Christmas basket. All wives and widows of Elks are invited to attend. Mrs. G. Q. D'Albini, who left Medford Friday for Lex ington, N.C., where she will make her home, was honored at a number of parties before her departure. Mrs. D'Albini, widely known for her civic and club activities in Medford and Jackson county, had made her home at 308 North Ivy street. . Crater Lake chapter, Daughters ' of the American Revolution, gave a farewell tea and reception for Mrs. D'Albini December 1 at the home of Mrs. Ray K. Bailey, 135 North Holly street. Mrs. D'Albini is a long-time mem ber of the DAR and for more than 30 years conducted citi zenship in the chapter's name for the foreign born of Jack son county. Last Sunday members ' of Eastwood Baptist church, of which Mrs. D'Albini was - a member, gave a farewell par ty in her honor. She was pre sented a sum of money with which to buy dishes for her new home in North Carolina. Another party for Mrs. D'Albini was given by Mrs. George Canode and Mrs. Rawles Moore at the former's home on Crown avenue. Guests were women who had formerly belonged to an or ganization known as the Dixie club. Last Thursday afternoon Mrs. George R.. Carter and Mrs, Willis - A. Scott, Apple- gate, were hostesses for luncheon which honored Mrs D'Albini. The luncheon was held at Mrs. Carter's home on East .Jackson boulevard Guests were Mrs. Paul B Rynning, Mrs. Anton A. Laus- mann, Mrs. Smith E. Trent, Mrs. Michael C. Loftus, Mrs. Samuel D. Earhart, Mrs. Ern est J. Smith and Mrs. Bren H. Starcher. Mrs. D'Albini went from Medford to Danville, Calif., where she planned to make a brief visit with her daughter, Mrs. Henry J. Mondot.
