Neuberger of Oregon ex pressed disappointment Fri day over a finding of the de partment of Interior that the Wocus Bay area of the Klam ath Indian Reservation can not be included in the marsh lands of a new wildlife refuge. Neuberger said "it is disap pointing to learn that the Wocus Bay section. . .cannot be incorporated into the wa terfowl refuge to be estab lished through the Klamath Termination act amendments. "This calls for concerted ef forts to work out a game man agement agreement for the Wocus Bay area with the non withdrawing members of the Klamath tribe who have de cided to retain their property rights there." He said he believed such an agreement could be success fully concluded .because the federal government has suf ficient statutory authority to acquire land by condemna tion for inclusion in the water fowl refuge system "if such action becomes necessary to achieve the total conservation objectives intended by Con gress." Information gath ered may assist in obtaining federal- grant-in-aid funds for dental health which could re sult in an annual grant of $100,000 to aid development of state-wide community den tal health services, it was stated Announcing aims of the conference, Dr. Herbert Good man, Portland chairman, said "Organized dentistry in Ore gon has long urged a con structive approach to state dental health problems. We hope that a permanent state council on dental health will be set up . . . and that find ings of the conference will re sult in a scientific, feasible and economical approach to the problem of dental dis ease.
