LEGAL NOTICES ORDINANCE NO. 712 AN ORDINANCE declaring the assessment on property benefited lor the cost of constructing pav ing, curbs, gutters and driveways on Eastwood Drive from East Mam street to Keeneway Drive, in the City of Medford. Oregon; and di recting the Kecorder to er:"er a statement thereof in the docket of City Liens and publish a notice thereof a required bv the Charter. THE CITY OF MEDFORD DOTH ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore by Ordi nance declare its intention to con struct paving, curbs, gutters and driveways on Eastwood Drive from East Main street to Keeneway Drive, in th City of Medford. Ore gon; and to assess the cost thereof upon each lot or part tnereoi aa jacent to and benefited by such improvement its proportionate share of the cost of said improve ment, and did fix the time and place for hearing protests against uie construction 01 said improve ment, and the assessment of the cot thereof, as aforesaid: and WHEREAS said Ordinance was duly posted and published as re quired by the cnarter 01 trie city; WHEREAS a meeting of the Council was held at the time and place fixed in said Ordinance for the purpose of considering anv such protests, bat no protests were at such time, or at any time, made to. or received by the Council to the construction of said improve ment, or the assessing of tne cost thereof, as aforesaid, and said Council has considered the matter and deeming that said construction of said improvement was and is of material benefit to said City, and that all the nronertv tn hi ausH therefor will he benefited thereby to the extent of the probable amount of the respective assess ments to be levied against said property, did order the construc tion of said improvement: and WHEREAS, the cost of said im provement has been and hereby is determined to be the sum of S13 202 53. NOW.
