The Rev. John Tison of the Episcopal church, officiated at the double ring ceremony at tended by 18 relatives and friends. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mahoney, 2445 Happy Valley drive, Medford. Pink and white chrysanthe mums decorated the home for the six o'clock evening wed ding. Given In marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin brocade frock styled on princess lines. Her corsage was of orchids. Mrs. Gene Tenney, Ashland, attended her cousin. She wore a pale blue satin dress with red rosebud corsage. Robert Ellis West, San Francisco served as best man for his twin brother. Following the ceremony a reception was held. ' The newlywed couple trav eled to Eugene and the coast on their wedding trip. They will make their home on Hap py Valley drive. The bride is a graduate of Grants Pass High school and is a senior in elementary ed ucation at Southern Oregon college. Mr. West attended the University of Oregon and Southern Oregon college and is assistant manager ot J. J Newberry company store here. Out-of-town guests attended the were Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Mahoney and Jerry Barnes, Grants Pass; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Tenney, Ashland; Mr. and Mrs. Pat Mahoney, Mrs. Lucille Brock, Mrs. Hobbs, all Medford; and Mr. and Mrs. Robert West, San Francisco. Rogue Grandmother club will meet Monday, November 24, at 12 noon. Officiat ing at the double ring rites was Jeff Prosise, pastor of the Church of Christ, Grants Pass. Chrysanthemums decorated the church for the seven o'clock evening ceremony, at tended by 40 relatives and friends. Mrs. Pierce is the former Miss Nora Price, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Price, Del ta Waters road, Medford. Mr. Pierce is a son of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Pierce, Muleshoe, Texas, and has been making his home in the valley for the past three months. The bride wore a white frock in afternoon length of cotton satin brocade with white hat and accessories. Her corsage was of pink car nations. Mr. Price gave his daughter in marriage. Miss Elizabeth Hollis, Med ford, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a navy blue frock with white accessories. Dale Ray Price, brother of the bride, served as best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Ray E. Wilson, 19 North Peach street. Assisting with the serving were Miss Mary Ann Wilson and Miss Linda Hollis, cousins of the bride. The bride Is a graduate of Artesia, N. Mex., High school and has made her home in the valley for the past year. Mr. Pierce was recently discharg ed from the United States Air Force and is employed by Vir gil Anderson, contractor. Holiday Rites Planned by Pair Prospect The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Caroline McHenry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas J. McHenry of Fort Washington, Pa., to David R. Lovejoy, Vancouver, Wash., has been announced by the Rev. and Mrs. W. B. Mac Henry, Prospect, uncle and aunt of the bride-elect. Miss McHenry is a graduate of Pierce Business school in Philadelphia and has been making her home in Prospect. Mr. Lovejoy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross H. C. Lovejoy, Hampton, New Hampshire, is a graduate of the New Hamp shire university. The wedding is planned for December 27 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Epis copal, in Prospect with the Rev. Mr. MacHenry, vicar of the church, officiating for the evening rites. Party Is Given For Bride-Elect; Rites Thursday Shady Cove-Trail Mrs. Vernon Copeland of Trail was hostess at her home Novem ber 20 for a bridal shower honoring Miss Carol Sands, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Sands. Miss Sands is to be married to Byron Craven, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Craven on Thanksgiving day. Co-hostess was Mr. Craven's sister, Mrs! Ralph Ferguson. Games were played with prizes being won by Mrs. John Loper, Mrs. Clarence Wagler of Trail and Mrs. Glenda Root, Eagle Point. Re freshments were served. Susan Hubbard Is Contestant Eugene' A Medford stu dent now attending the Uni versity of Oregon has been named one of the five final ists in the annual Sweetheart of Sigma Chi contest. Miss Susan Hubbard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester A. Hub bard, 2451 Lyman avenue was selected from a group of 32 co-eds. Wilson, well known Jackson county residents, will be-honored at a reception Sunday, November 30. The event will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary, and their sons and daughters will be hosts. Medford Bethel To Hold Election Officers for Bethel 14, In ternational Order of Job's Daughters, will be elected at the December 3 meeting of the bethel, it was announced by the November 19 meeting of the group.
