The theme was "4-H Girl's Dream" and ap pearing from behind a cloud were the dress revue partici pants. Little Cheryl Bolz. a mem ber of the Phoenix 4-H club, was the 4-H club eirl dream ing of the creations. Narrator was Dona Brown, former 4-H member in Jackson countv. E. Sloniger. ' Miss Sloniger, 17, will at tend Newcomb college, the girls' college at Tulane, her mother reported. The scholar ship winner was also a merit winner in the National Merit Scholarship contest this year. While attending Medford high she was campus reporter for the Mail Tribune and was active in a number of school activities. Jerry Moore, Reese. Creek, had the champion registered Jersey, and Lanny Parsons of Rogue River exhibited the champion grade Jersey. In the Guernsey division, Judy Nel son of Griffin Creek and David Carter of Rogue River had registered the grade champions, respectively. Milk Goat Show The first complete milk goat show of its kind in the county found Gail Glidden of Phoenix and Allan Brooks of Central Point topping their divisions in the aged doe and yearling doe, respectively. Gail also took the champion showman in milk goats, with close competition from Mar tha Humphreys of Westside. Carolyn Tiegs of Talent proved to be a versatile show man during the fair as she worked her way to the cham pionship over-all dairy show man after having previously won the poultry showman ship.
