Angeline took the chain from her grandfather's garage and locked it around her neck 17 days ago. Then she and her aunt mailed the only key to the President and drove from Texas to the capital. Angeline wants the Presi dent to release the chain so she can tell him about the plight of sime land to which her mother claims ownership in Texas. Her mother con tends a federal court in Hous ton set aside her deeds to 700 acres of land "without a trial." Refused Audienc Angeline has been refused an audience with the chief ex ecutive on grounds there is nothing he can do. But she continued her around-the-clock sit-down strike in front of the White Housg in 90-de-gree weather, hoping the President would see her any. way. If he doesn't have a change of heart, Angeline said she would strike the chains from her neck herself on Friday because I don't want to worry Mr. Eisenhower any more than necessary." The White House has sent the key to guards who have offered it to Angeline several times. A federal court recently issued a writ of seizure to the land Mrs. Cliett claims she owns.
