school will start Monday,
Sept. 2. Registration for all
new students will be on Aug.

Angeline took the chain
from her grandfather's garage
and locked it around her
neck 17 days ago. Then she
and her aunt mailed the only
key to the President and
drove from Texas to the capital.
Angeline wants the Presi
dent to release the chain so
she can tell him about the
plight of sime land to which
her mother claims ownership
in Texas. Her mother con
tends a federal court in Hous
ton set aside her deeds to
700 acres of land "without a
trial."

Angeline has been refused
an audience with the chief ex
ecutive on grounds there is
nothing he can do. But she
continued her around-the-clock
sit-down strike in front
of the White Housg in 90-de-gree
weather, hoping the
