But in some stores the wage is less than a nickle out of each dol lar, and in others it runs as high as 43 cents. Some butchers get special benefits such as uniforms, paid holidays and vacations, medical care and hospitaliza tion, while others don't get such benefits. Heart Association Renews UO Grant Portland (UPD-The Amer ican Heart Association has re newed a $4,400 grant so the University of Oregon medical school here can continue its study of the effects of antico agulants on heart patients, the school said today. The study, the first such project in the United States to employ the "double-blind" research technique, is in its third year. The double-blind method is "designed to rule out the psy chological effect on patients of a doctor's enthusiasm for a particular method of treat ment," the school said. Anticoagulants are drugs which decrease the blood's ability to clot. Last Rites Held For Harry Warner Hollywood (UPD Last rites were conducted Sunday for Harry Warner, who with his brothers opened a theater in New Castle, Pa., in 1903, and built Warner Bros. The movie pioneer, who died of a cerebral occlusion last Friday night at his home, passed on during a year that saw the deaths of film pio neers Louis B.
