Day (at left) gave last Tuesday afternoon at the Day's inter esting new home on a hill top above Gold Rey dam on the Rogue river. The tea was planned in order that Mrs. -Day's friends might meet her new daughter-in-law and two guests spending some time in the valley. Day with the tea which she gave Tuesday afternoon at her home. Mrs. B. Brandt Bartels (center) poured and her mother, Mrs. Andrew Merritt, Walsenburg, Colo., was among the guests. One of Mr. Day's hunting trophies, the head of a huge Kodiak bear, hangs on the patio wall. Other trophies decorate the halls and living room. T v ' 1 ' J Among the guests at the tea given by Mrs. John S. Day Tuesday afternoon were (left to right) Mrs. Charles Barnes, her daughter. Miss Susan Barnes; their guest, Miss Sue Collins of Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Curtis Barnes. Miss Barnes' wedding to Donald Dean McLaughlin of Medford is set . . ' for next month. Guests of Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence Buonocore are Mrs. Buonocore's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney G." Tickton, Great Neck, New York and their family. Miss Judy Tickton (at left), David and Miss Diane Tickton. Soon after their arrival the Tickfons went to Lake of the Woods to spend some time at the Buonocores' lake cabin. Mr. Tickton plans to leave the end of the month but Mrs. Tickton and the children will remain for a longer stay. Mr. Tickton, a statistician, works with Beardsley Ruml. o I!
