A week ago, police picked up the 23-year-old Army vet eran and held him on suspi cion of narcotics law viola tion. Detectives suspected Jh cigarettes he was smoking contained marijuana. Dawson insisted the roU-youf-own smokes were made of tea leaves and cinnamon a blend he and his buddies used in Korea when the tobacco-filled product was in short supply. , Officers sent the cigarettes to the, state crime laboratory and told Dawson to keep him self available in case the re port was incriminating , Yes, the laboratory staff re ported, a preliminary examin ation of the cigarettes indicat ed a marijuana content. Daw son was picked up again and held until the Jinal report was in. Now he's free. A more thor ough analysis showed Dawson was right: tea leaves and cin namon. - Bridge Collapse Dunks Vehicles Kalama, Wash! The state had asked reconsidera tion. The decision concerned ' only one indictment but the others are similar.
