Mr. and Mrs. Truman Bish op, who sold their ranch to a California family, have pur chased a new home on Old Stage road. They moved there the first of July. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mercer of Medford visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Berg man recently. Mr. Alfonce of the Mission Bell ranch was a recent visi tor in the Meadows. Student Drowns in Lake on Campus Terre Haute, Ind. (UPI) A Rose Poly Institute sum mer student drowned Wednes day while swimming with a companion in a lake on, the campus east of here. The body of Phillip Keith, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Keith, Plainville, was recovered about an hour after the accident.
