Saudi Arabia To Curb Jordan Aid Amman, Jordan (IP) Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Faisal has informed Jordan his gov ernment cannot continue its annual $15,400,000 dollar sub sidy to Jordan, authoritative sources said today. The subsidy was set up in the spring of 1956 when Brit ain cut off its $30 million annual aid to Jordan after King Hussein ousted British Maj. Gen. John Glubb as com mander of the Arab Legion. In addition to dropping the subsidy, Saudi Arabaia was expected to withdraw the 5,000 to 7,000 troops now sta tioned in Jordan. The gap between the Saudi aid and the money formerly paid by Britain was largely made up last year by U. S. economic aid. The proceeds are used to purchase additional art supplies for the youngsters and to help support the li brary. These, like the other articles on ' exhibit, were brought from Mexico by Miss Webster upon her return from a recent vacation on Mexico's west coast. They are displayed as an observance of Pan American Day, April 14. More than half a million Americans visit Mexico each year, she said.
