C, tort Smith, Ark., and Ana heim, Calif. Ralston Purina comnanv says it plans to build a major cereal plant on a 20-acre site in the Cincinnati area. The expected cost isn't announced. Construction will begin im mediately. The Bank of America will double the size of its pro posed new San Francisco office buildinsr on Market street near Van Ness. The building will be eight stories high, and bank officials. say it will be designed so that additional stories can be add ed as needed. Youth Arrested On Liquor Charge Medford police report ar resting a 22-year-old youth on charges of furnishing liquor to minors and five juveniles for being minors in possession of intoxicating liquor Friday night. Police said Bruce Arnold Lindgren, 1139 Morrow rd.. was arrested on charges of furnishing liquor to minors after they conducted a routine investigation of a car on North Riverside ave., near Main st., Friday night. Susan Anne Wright, 19, of 507 Fourth St., Phoenix, June Mayvis Walker, 18, 1545 Camp Baker rd., Rachel Faye Standley, 20, of box 313, Phoenix, Richard Alvin White, 19, of 102 California st., Jacksonville, and a 16-year-old Phoenix girl were ar rested for being minors in possession of liquor at the same time, police said. Another controller with 20 years experience asserted that some major air centers "are short as much as 50 per cent in qualified personnel." Resignation Given By China Premier Taipei, Formosa (IP! Pre mier O. K. Yui submitted the resignation of his 17-man cab inet to President Chiang Kai Shek Saturday after being im peached and reprimanded on charges of waste and corrup tion. Chiang received the resig nation offer at dawn after a three-hour meeting with Yui. He was not expected to act on the resignation for several weeks. The control Yuan, watch dog committee of the Nation alist Chinese government, im peached Yui Dec. 23. The ju dicial Yuan supreme court c o m m i ttee on disciplining public functionaries repriman ded Yui Friday on two of the six counts with which he was charged. The committee found he had made personal use of public funds and had failed to eliminate government waste. Godfrey Aids City By Products Boost Oceanlake, Ore. (IP) Resi dents of this coastal center watched with pride Friday as Arthur Godfrey devoted at least 12 minutes of his pro gram time to a discussion of the 20 Miracle Miles of the Oregon coast. The publicity was all a re sult of a package of gifts from thi3 area that was flown to Godfrey in specially design ed trappings. When Godfrey recently mentioned the Fri day Evening Social club that meets on Tuesday noons on the Miracle Miles stretch he admitted that he didn't know where it was.
