The only gorilla ever bom in captivity, ,Colo. the pride of the Colum bus (Ohio) Zoo. is now more than a year old and living in 'diaper-clad glory with a fixed j notion about her personal sta tus she thinks she's human. Those receiving awards in Den 1 were Gary Dowing, the Bear badge; and Jerry Wil son, Alvin Kayola and Aurtor Andressen, the Lion badge. A new member, Mike Sar gent, received his Cub scarf and Cub pin. In Den 3, a' new member, Rusty Nichols, received the Bobcat pin and Cub scarf. They are never allow.ed to-1 Also receiving awards were Ronald Bastiani. the Wolf badges, and two Bear badges went to Jimmy and Rusty Slack. Gold and Silver arrows were awarded to Terry Par tori, which he won last year. In Den 4, .new member Fred Appetti received his Bobcat pin and Cub scarf. Den 1 had the most present so they won the cup for the month. Ricky Larson and Ray Dowing were the flag bear ers and Darwin Bevens was Cub master. Paul Pearson is spending four weeks in Portland at tending courses in connection with the Forest service. He is visiting at the home of his brother, Stanford, and family while there. Miss LaDonna Gould enter tained friends with a dinner following the alumni basket ball game Jan. 25. Guests were Bud Gillespie, Kathi Snyder, Suzi and Sally Mc Killop, Jim Daniels, Jim Na mitz and Mr. Bates. New owners of the Hugh Spurill home are Mr. and Mrs: Lowell Ash of Union creek. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bennett visited at the home of 'their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Frison last week.
