S. Williams is the former Priscilla Anne West, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. D. Kirkland West, Medford. The Williams-West wedding, held December 23 at First Presbyterian church, was one of the largest events of the holiday season. The bride's father, pastor of the church, officiated for the ceremony with the Rev. George R. V. Bolster, rector, of St. Mark's Episcopal church, the bridegroom's church, assisting. The newly married Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Williams signed their marriage papers after the cere mony December 23 while members of the two families looked on. Dr. D. Kirkland West read his daughter's wedding ceremony and the bride's younger sister, Ellen, was her honor attendant. Robert Small (far righf)'came from Seattle to serve as best man for his brother-in-law. Since the bride has played often at the church for various functions, the piano appropriately served as a resting place for the papers. 1 f J' 1 Cutting their wedding cake are Mr. and Mrs. Dom Sylvan Provost, who were married De cember 22 at First Presbyterian church in Medford. The bride is the former Joyce Mary . Bearden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Percy C. Bearden of Medford, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. -Domino Provost, Ashland. The bride's father spent many hours mak ing a particularly beautiful wedding cake adorned with lattice hearts. - "I ill . ...iMhszLhl Little Johnny Skyrman, orphaned nephew of the former-Joyce Bearden, enjoyed every moment of the Provost-Bearden wed . ding and when the receiving line ended, begged his new uncle to hold him. The bridegroom, son of Mrs. Thomas V. Williams, Medford, is a senior medical student at the University of Oregon Med ical school, Portland. (Williams-West photos by Brainerd) A pre-Christmas ceremony at West Main Church of Christ read by the bride's father, Elder H. O. Martin, wedded Miss Eleanor Celia Martin and Burton Lloyd Clifford. The newlyweds traveled to Texas for their wedding trip and will live in Abilene. Married during the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Nicholas Martin, the rites having been held December 23 at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Hershiser.
