The Rev. Joseph Munshaw, Eagle Point Community Bible church, read the service at eight o'clock in the evening in the presence of 200 relatives and friends. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otha Turner, Route 1, Box'658C, Eagle Point, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lefler, 1015 Oak street, Central Point. Mr. Lefler and his bride are making a motor trip to Yosemite National park in California for their honeymoon, and will live in Pasadena, Calif., where the bridegroom will attend Pasade na City college this fall. The bride, given in marriage by Mr. Turner, wore a gown of white lace and net over taffeta and carried a cascade bouquet of dark red roses and pink carna tions centered with a white or chid. Mrs. Darold Barritt, the bride's sii'.ter-in-law, was matron- of-honor, and Miss Susan Fallen- hagen and Miss Glenda Swanson were Driaesmaias. rney wore pink taffeta frocks and carried pink and white carnations. Nanette Regester was flower girl and the candles were lighted by Miss Patricia Higinbotham, cousin of the bridegroom, and Miss Jannett Johnson. The can- dlelighters wore frocks of pink dotted Swiss. James Higinbotham was best man for his cousin, and ushers Riders to Enter Horses in Fair Miss Barbara Read, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Read, Griffin Creek road, and Miss Janet Young, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walt Young.Hillcrest road, Phoenix, will leave Tues day, September 3, for Salem where they will enter their horses in the state fair. Miss Read will take her palo mino mare, Arabii Image, which she plans to enter in western pleasure and palomino pleasure horse classes for the September 7 matinee. Miss Young plans to take her palomino mare, Beau Belle, which will be entered in west ern pleasure, palomino pleasure class, and AHSA medal class saddle horse seat on September 7 at the matinee. Miss Young is also taking her five-gaited horse, Pride of Carnation, and her palomino parade stallion, Talisman. Miss Sandra Burns Honored at Party; Wedding Day Set Central Point , Mrs. Angus Todd of Medford was hostess Thursday evening for a showqr honoring Miss Sandra Burns. Miss Burns, formerly of Central Point, and now of Redding, Cal., has set August 27 as he date for her wedding to Roy Price of Santa Barbara. Thirty - eight guests, from Washington, Oregon and Calif ornia, attended the shower. Mrs. Wilson Smith, aunt of Miss Burns, helped with the decor. Families Leave After Visit" Here Mr. and Mrs. Georee Haean of El Monte, Calif., with their son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Stephenson, Bak ersfield, Caiif., left Wednesday alter a stay here. They were Buests of Mr. and Mrs. TV W Fraysher, a sister and brother-in-law, and Mr. and Mrs. Verne Fraysher, 2035 Sunset drive. The visitors toured the Jack sonville museum, visited Willow lake and traveled to the Oregon Caves. They first stopped in Medford while en route to Seat tle, and then continued their visit on the way south. were Norman Barnes and Dar old Barritt, brother of the bride. Pink ajters and white gladio lus decorated the church. The reception was held in the church parlor. Miss Susie Palm took charge of the guest book, and Mrs. Ray Palm Cut the wed ding cake. Pouring coffee and punch were Miss Bonnie Higin botham, Mrs. James Bresland, Miss Lois Cunningham and Miss Wynette Turner. Mrs. Lloyd Walch and Mrs. Marvin Wright took charge of the gifts. The bride's mother wore a beige print dress with beige and white accessories and pink and white carnation corsage. The bridegroom's mother was attired in a biue crepe sheath dress with white accessories and a pink and white carnation corsage. t The bride has been attending Eagle Point High school and the bridegroom is a graduate of Cra ter High school. , mi- D'S FASHION CENTER Miss Carol Wilson JVed To Charles Neff Calmer Sacred Heart Catholic church was the Setting Saturday, Aug ust 17, for the nuptial ' mass which wedded Miss Carol Ann Wilson and Charles Neff Culmer. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Victor Wrigglesworth, 1027 Red dy street, - Medford, and Fred Wilson, Dexter, Ore. The bride groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Culmer, 399 Mountain street, Ashland. The Rev. John Ilg officiated for the double ring ceremony held at eleven o'clock in the morning. Bruno Pellegrini played the traditional organ wedding music. The bride, escorted to the al tar by her father, wore a baller ina length frock of lace and tulle over satin. Her fingertip length veil was held by a seed pearl crown and she carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses and stephanotis. Her - single strand of pearls was a gift from the bridegroom. Miss Carita Culmer, sister of the bridegroom, was honor at tendant. She wore a ballerina length frock of pink taffeta and tulle with headband and sequin veil. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations. Miss Sylvia Teeter, Miss Molly Walker and Miss Carol Lewis, Eugene, were bridesmaids. They wore balle rina length pink affeta and tulle frocks with matching headbands and sequin veils and carried bou quets of white and pink carna tions. Monty Wray, Ashland, served as best man while Leroy Moore, Howard Roberts, and Monty Robertson, all of Ashland, seated guests. Pink and white gladioli dec orated the church for the cere mony. Fcr her daughter's wedding Mrs.- Wrigglesworth - chose a peach lace dress with white ac cessories. Mrs. Culmer wore a blue lace frock with black ac cessories. They wore white car nation corsages. Following the ceremony a re ception was held at the Medford hotel. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Myrlin Scott, Mrs. Molly Young, Miss Nancy Wal stead, and Miss Jean Tabor. After a wedding trip along the Oregon coast the newlywed couple will make their home in southern California where the bridegroom will attend Cali fornia State Polytechnic college. For her traveling attire the bride wore a powder blue sheath dress with matching jacket and white accessories. The bride is a graduate of Medford High school and attend ed Robertson Business school. She was employed by Rush Elec tric. The bridegroom is a gradu ate of Ashland high school and was employed by the Market AY SSBJL'tnm . August 8 Mrs. Robert Coghill and Mrs. " Dave Schaeffer were hostesses for a shower at the home of Mrs. Coghill's parents, the Taylor residence in Ash land. Garden flowers decorated the rooms for the event attended by 20 friends. Mrs. Wrigglesworth was host ess to a group of friends of the bride-elect at a buffet dinner, August 15. Pink and white asters formed the centerpiece for the table. Guests included Miss Syl via Teeter, Miss Carol Lewis, Miss Molly Walker, Miss Nancy Walstead, Miss Darlene Smith, Miss Jean Tabor, Miss Carita Culmer, and the honored guest.
