Clegg Jr. (Brainerd Photo) Clegg -Kroening Ceremony Held at Episcopal Church St. Mark's Episcopal church was the setting Saturday, August 3, lor the eight o'clock evening wedding of Miss Darlene Ann Kroening and William B. Clegg Jr. The Rev. George R. V. Bolster officiated at the double ring ceremony, attended by 100 relatives and friends. The bride is daughter of Mrs. Arthur E. Kroening, Lake view, Ore., and Arthur E. Kroen ing of Tillamook. She has been making her home at 609 Sherman-avenue, Medford. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Clegg, 2235 Oak wood drive, Medford. While gladiolus decorated the church for the wedding. Doug las Cummings played the tra ditional organ wedding music and accompanied Miss Janet Jamison, soloist. The bride wore a white ball erina length frock of lace with sequin trim on the bodice. Her veil was held by a lace crown and she carried a pink orchid on a white prayer book and handkerchief loaned by the mother of the bridegroom. Her pearl necklace was a gift of the bridegroom. She was given in marriage by Edward L. Bunnell, a brother-in-law from Portland. Mrs. Wayne Hunter was hon or attendant and bridesmaids were Miss Juanita Stoval and Miss Annabelle Welch of San Francisco. They wore frocks of pink dotted nylon styled on princess lines and carried bou quets of white asters. Arthur Ekerson served as best man and Gary Shaffer and Wayne Hunter seated the guests. Following the ceremony a .re ception was held in the patio at the Clegg home on Oakwood drive. Mrs. Marjorie Green cut and served the wedding cake. Mrs. Hugh Kimble, aunt of the bride, poured the coffee, and Mrs. Ruhl Rians poured the Insurance Women From Two States To Attend Session Members of the National Asso ciation of Insurance Women in Washington and Oregon will meet in Medford August 17 and 18. Host for the meetings will be the Insurance Women of Jackson County. Program for the two days In cludes attendance at the Shake spearean festival Saturday eve ning preceded by a picnic in Lithia park and a Sunday break fast meeting at 9 a.m. at the Medford hotel. Speakers at the breakfast will include educational directors of Seattle, Portland, Salem, Eu gene, Roseburg, Grants Pass and Medford clubs as well as Mrs. Eva Brower of Portland, state organization of 'Oregon chair man. Reservations for the events, must be made prior to Wednes day, August 14, by telephoning Mrs. Irene Ostrander, SPring 2-7558. All insurance personnel and interested persons are in vited to attend. punch. Miss Jo Ann Jamison was in charge of the guest book. Assisting with the serving were Mrs. Claudia Cave, Mrs. Robert Aldredge and Miss Myrna Rob ertson. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Kroening wore a pearl gray suit with pink accessories. Her flowers were pink carnations. Mrs. Clegg chose a flowered print dress of emerald green and violet with violet hat and white accessories. Her corsage was of gardenias. The newlyweds are making their home at 609 Sherman ave nue, apartment 1, Medford. For her traveling attire the bride chose a pink flowered dress. The bride attended Medford High school and Oregon State college. She is employed in the sales department at Medford corporation. The bridegroom at tended Medford High school and Southern Oregon college and is a student at the University of Oregon. Relatives of the bride from out of town who attended the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Kimble, aunt and uncle, Coos Bay, Jack Kroening, broth er, Reedsport, Erwin Kimble, uncle. Coos Bay, and cousins, Lloyd Kimble, Coos Bay, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kimble, Brookings. Relatives ' of the bridegroom included Miss Marg aret Clegg, Palo Alto, Calif. Mrs. Adam Volkenant, aunt, and her daughter, Janice, Ottawa, 111. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Larsen Lewis, Tigard. Leon s c Rites Held At Chapel Miss Dana Lee Ragsdale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee V. Ragsdale, 1004 Whitman avenue, Medford, became the bride of Robert George Kramer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Foss G. Kramer, 332 Hargadine drive, Ashland, in a ceremony held Saturday, July 27, at the Travis Air Force Base Chapel in California. Air Force Chaplain James R. Woodruff, a Methodist minister, officiated at the double ring cer emony held at 11 o'clock in the morning. White gladiolus decor ated the chapel for the wedding. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white ribbon lace knit sheath dress with small white hat which held a veil. She carried a nosegay bouquet of white carnations. Following the ceremony a din ner was held at The Nut Tree Dining Inn in Vacaville, Calif. Attending were the parents of the couple who traveled south for the ceremony. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Ragsdale chose a brown and white sheer print dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink Ester Reed daisies. Mrs. Kramer chose a mauve and white frock with ' white ac cessories. Her flowers were white Ester Reed daisies. The bride is a graduate of Medford High school. The bride groom attended Ashland High school and Southern Oregon col lege. He is an airman first class now stationed with the United States Air Force at Travis Air Force base in California. V 1 The bride was honored at a shower given by Mrs. Lester Harris at her home on South Oakdale avenue. The event was a morning coffee held outdoors, and about 24 guests called during the morning. Jack Stong will furnish the piano with the tape recorded music by Phil Brainerd. ' Former Residents Honored at Dinner A dinner party in honor of Mrs. Maurice L. Tedrow and daughter, Kay, of Vancouver, Wash., was held Wednesday eve ning at the home of Mrs. Wal lace Robinson, 29 Ross Court. Eight guests, wives of U.S. Forest Service employees, gath ered at the Robinson home. The Tedrows are former Medford residents. Mr. Tedrow was in the office of Rogue River National Forest before the family moved to Vancouver two years ago. He is now employed on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington. Mrs. Tedrow and her daugh ter arrived in Medford last Mon day for a week's visit with friends and relatives in the val ley. They are house guests at the L. P. Crocker home, 33S5 Jack sonville highway. Visits in Medford Houseguests of the A. K. Morse family, 36 Ashland ave nue, are Mrs. W. A. Tate of Se attle and Miss Rina Mark of Los Angeles. Miss Mark is a guest of the Morse's daughter, Linda. Visitors in the Morse home last week were Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Brown and children, Larry and Susan, of Santa Barbara, Calif. Mrs. Brown is a sister of Mr. Morse. Mr. and Mrs. Robert George Kramer Seattle Family In Hawaii , Mrs. Frank Boone, 1526 West Main street, left Thursday by air for Honolulu, T. H., where she will visit her son-in-law and daughter, Ensign and Mrs. Gary Boshears. Family Here Mrs. M. A. Michele and daugh ters, Mary Elizabeth and Melin da, have arrived from Phoenix, Ariz., to spend the remainder of the summer with Mrs. Mich ele's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Phipps, 4052 Crater Lake highway.
