IV Jubilee Plans
Near Completion
Cave Junction Three candi-
dates have entered the race for
Queen of the Illinois Valley Jub
ilee, according to Don Adams,
chairman of the annual Labor
Day celebration.
They are Ronine Rausch, gpon-
flraj Kiv the Amprlnan T.ppinn '
and auxiliary; Linda Deaton, the
Eagles and auxiliary candidate;
and Myrna Gibbons, who repre-j
sents the Democratic club.
Other entries are expected.
Candidates sponsored ' by the
World War I veterans, the Cham
ber of Commerce, the Lions club
and the Illinois Valley Fire de
1 partment have not yet been an
nounced. Final plans for the Jubilee
were made at a meeting last
week. Two dances will be held
during the celebration, the
Queen's Ball on Saturday night
and the Jubilee ball on Monday. -.
Two additional dances given
by the Jubilee association are
set for Aug. 17 and 24 in the
Legion hall.
