0 o o o o O G o O o o Oo ft a TWO MEDF03D (OHCGOff) Square Dance Groups Tell of Dances-Builcfihd Two special events and the opening of a new sqttfje sfirnce building have been announced by southern Oregon square aance groups. The Rogue Valley Square Dance Callers association is sponsoring a family picnic and dance at the Rogue River .y , park Thursday. July 4. The afternoon program will start at: 1 p.m. and dancing will be held; on the outdoor pavilion. in ; mlli,. gon have been invited toMtend. and babysitting service will h? availahle Dancers have heen asked to bring picnic lunches. Another dance will be held in the Veterans of Foreign 0V'arS hall in Rogue RiverVednesday, July 17, when Wilifam Hansen of West Covina. Calif., will be featured caller. The event is be sponsored by the RVSDCA, and will start at 8:30 p.m. Douglas Fosbury, Medford caller, and Douglas Decker, Waggin' Wheelers club caller. have announced that a building will reopen Saturday night, July fi. off Crater Lake highway (fit Camp White. The building was used for square dancing seral years ago. Dances will be heldich Sat urday night, with Mr. Fosbury calling the first and third Sat urdays, and Mr. Decker the sec ond and fourth Saturdays. Dances will start at 8:30 p.m. Local dancers have refurb ished the building in preparation for the first dance Saturday, July 6, which will be a free dance. Potluck refreshments will be served. Two-Fruif Shortcake Use a few strawberries for a two-fruit shortcake, combining them with canned cling peach slices.
