Williams Owen-Williams Wed In Medford Home Ceremony Eagle Point Mrs. Amber E. Owen became the bride of Al bert Williams in a ceremony held at the home of Mrs. Owen's daughter, Mrs. Betty L. Gris som, Wednesday, June 19, at nine o'clock in the evening. The Rev. John Martin of the Church of Christ officiated. For her wedding the bride wore an orange silk dress wit.T white accessories. Wild orange blossoms, and red and white roses decorated the Grissom home on Merriman road, Medford, for .the wedding and reception which followed. The couple will make their home in Eagle Point where Mr. Williams is a rancher. Guests Return To Texas Home Mr. and Mrs. Ed Peterson Jr., from Wichita Falls, Texas, aro leaving today after visiting the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Bush Jr., 118 Black i Oak drive. Mrs. Peterson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bush. Wednes day evening a party was held in the visitors' honor in the yard of the Bush home. Plan Picnic Medford chapter of Gold Star Mothers will hold a picnic af 12 noon Tuesday in Hawthorne park behind the Girl Scout of fice. All Gold Star Mothers are invited whether members or not. Those attending are to bring a hot or cold dish and their own service. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Coleman, 1115 East Eleventh street, Medford. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul McGuire of Colo rado Springs, Colo. Dr. D. Kirkland West offici r.Ied at the double ring rites at tended by 150 friends and rela tives. Yellow gladiolus and greenery decorated the church. Mrs. Charles Champlin was solo ist and Miss Priscilla West play ed the traditional organ wed ding music. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white organdy frock styled with shir red bodice and long sleeves. Small ruffles fell the length of the full skirt and her fingertip length veil was held by a band of seed pearls. She carried a bou quet of stephanotis encircling a white orchid. Her single strand of pearls was a gift of the bride groom. The wedding dress was first worn by the sister of the bride, Mrs. Neil Arant. Mrs. Arant was matron of honor for her sister and wore a pale yellow silk organdy frock styled on princess lines. She car ried a cascade bouquet of yel low Ester Reed daisies and her headband was of matching flowers. Miss Nancy Thomas of Reno. Nevada, cousin of the bride, and Miss Joyce McGuire of Colorado Springs, sister of the bride groom, were candlelighters. They wore dresses identical to the honor attendant with head bands of Ester Reed daisies and wristlets of daisies. Dean McGuire served as best man for his brother while Jim Grey, Neil Arant, Grants Pass, John Chatalas, ' Seattle, Wash., and Spencer Marsh Jr. of Port land, seated the guests. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Coleman wore a slate blue lace dress over pink taffeta. Her corsage was of pink carnations. Following the ceremony a re ception was held at the church. Mrs. E. L. Thomas and Mrs. H. De Jarnett, aunts of the bride, cut and served the wedding cake. Miss Donna Witter and Miss Priscilla Elmquist served the punch. Mrs. B. Mueller was in charge of the guest book and Miss Joan Meador was at the gift table. Out of town guests included Mrs. Paul McGuire, mother of the bridegroom, and Miss Joyce McGuire and Dean McGuire, sis ter and brother of the bride groom, of Colorado Springs. Rel atives of the bride included Mrs. Cora Crowder, Reno, Nevada, great aunt; Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Thomas, aunt and uncle and Miss Nancy Thomas, cousin, of Reno; Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Marsh Jr., Portland; John Cha talas, Seattle: Miss Ruth Ln Iand, Miss Priscilla Elmquist. Richard Jarvis, Lon Nelson and Miss Joan Meador, all of Port land. The bride is a graduate of Medford schools and Whitworth college. She is a student at Eman uel School of Nursing, Portland. The bridegroom attended Colo rado Springs schools and Whit worth college in Spokane. He is employed at the First National Bank in Portland. The newlywed couple will make their home at 532 North cast Going street, Portland. For her traveling attire the bride wore a blue linen suit with white accessories and the white orchid from her bridal bouquet. Prior to the wedding a shower was given for the bride-elect by Mrs. Albert L. James and Miss Donna Witter at the James home on Euclid avenue. Sixteen guests attended. Mr. and Mrs. H. De Jarnett, aunt and uncle, and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Arant, sister and biother-in-law, gave a dinner for the bride-elect at the De Jarnett home on Pioneer road durine the week prior to the wedding.
